I've been inspired to use my scraper more after binge-watching several of your scraper videos. It has revolutionized my turning. My rough finish has dramatically improved and my sanding has been reduced by at least half.

Are you a believer in carbide tools for your turnings ?

No, not really, my opinion is they are great but not so much for turning.... carbide for has much better use on machine driven tools like table saw blade and joiner, or even resaw blades for bandsaw.... Not so much for turning... But again if you like using them , nothing wrong with that....

That seems like a good way to convince yourself to eat less in the evenings if it's more difficult to get snacks out. I was thinking that you were making a spinning top arena that itself spins. I was planning to make one on a base with a bearing so that the arena would be moving while the tops are fighting but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm kinda glad you didn't make that because i'd like to give it a try before anyone influences my design. :) great video, Tomislav.
