I know I know I'm yakking a lot but shout out for the engineering behind it. It's off the hook! To combine the gyro with the board to allow the thing to even stay upright but then the different wheelie modes AND the fact that the rider's arms move with the steering and to fit it all in. I bet they spent 1000's of man hours engineering it all before they got it to work. I don't think ppl realize the tuning required to get the gyro programmed to keep it upright but also allow it to lean into corners. Those two actions are in direct violation of each other. It takes a LOT to impress me and this thing does...(if you couldn't tell).
@TomleyRC9 ай бұрын
haha...Yak away dude. I am more impressed with the engineering behind this than the actually driving of it lol.

It is awesome technology forsure. Someone was saying the reciver is just a air reciver with fly safe program written to it. Not 100% but I wouldn't mind figuring out what one they relabled to use. So of this ones ever had to get you can get another one that has the same gyro.

I promise you, take off those Prolines and get whatever aftermarket wheel of choice is you like and get the Vitavon full size street tires. I did a Promoto and Supermoto build and even with speed gears the Supermoto only did 40. Swapped over to some Aliexpress Vitavon knock offs and some Vitavon tires and the bike handles SO much better, does 50MPH on 2S stock battery and will still do wheelies for days! No more chain rub or chain guard rubs! Can turn sharper and is just loads more fun!

They do handle a treat with the arms off. I love the look! I just got tired of chasing it. Wore my wives Fitbit and it said I walked 1.8 miles picking it up. LOL I kept eating chains and such so tried out the larger wheels. MUCH better performance now. I can send a link of the the video on larger wheels if you like. I am a HUGE fan of your channel so dont want to step on any toes. I went with the HR gears which is one tooth larger pinion (sprocket) and 1 tooth smaller wheel sprocket and added the hardened chain.

You can make super tight turns. It's something you learn or maybe it's because I ride real ones. Turning on the throttle is your friend with these. Stay on and off the throttle and I can make tight turns in my yard effortless. But everyone learns them differently. These are so easy to operate. Some reviews on KZbin give the wrong impression. One thing I've learned. Don't listen to others reviews. Because usually it's operator error. And if people actually read the box or manual you'll see to make tight turns adjust the MX6.
@AsurasWrath1649 ай бұрын
Youre right with braking. As soon as you slow down the gravity pushes the bike straight up again and therefore needs a wider diameter for turning. As you said too: turning with bikes needs staying on the throttle and steering in the opposite direction.
@ralphhondaman9 ай бұрын
@AsurasWrath164 when I get a chance I'm going to get some videos In my backyard with it. I can make some tight turns with it no problem around my track. It can be tricky but it's something I've learned with it. I have 2 of them that are built a little different. But adjusted the mx6 know helps big time. I adjust it differently for dirt and on road.

I'm hoping they are working on a superbike road version. I'll be all over that like white on rice. Other than body panels and rider, I think the only major change would be the length of the front shocks. I think the protection arms out the sides could be integrated into the fairing/body panels. I think that'd be epic and create a whole division for on road racing.
@Truckziller9 ай бұрын
I would also love to see a superbike version. But if they want to do it right, they have to change a lot. The geometry for a street bike is totally different. Theyre less tall but with a longer wheelbase, the swingarm is mounted higher in the chassis. The angle of the front shocks is also different.
@muskokamike1279 ай бұрын
@@Truckziller I guess you've never heard of adventure bikes? Not to mention these aren't actually superbikes OR motocross. The length can be done with a long chain and swing arm. The front shocks can be shortened. It wouldn't be that diff, you can tell by the way this version handles on the road with just a change in tires. I mean did you SEE the way it was leaning into the corners on asphalt?
@Truckziller9 ай бұрын
@@muskokamike127 Ah maybe thats why Marc Marquez left Honda, because they wouldn´t give him an Africa Twin for MotoGP. Of course theyre not real bikes, but part of the fun is the authentic look and behavior. The mods you listed are already available or can be made easy. If Losi will step in, they will do it right.

That montage at the beginning in stock spec is superb, Phil! You made your bike look very cool - but I have a question. Did you notice the talker gearing you got from the smaller rear sprocket? I ask because you simultaneously fitted a smaller rear wheel, so I'm wondering to what extent that cancelled out the effect of the sprocket.
