Your locs are beautiful!!! I really liked the loc-bob. I'm so ready for my braid pattern to at least start disappearing. 3 month loc'd...trusting the process. Overall, I love not having to do a lot to my hair and using so much product to maintain. Keep growing and glowing!!!

Happy 3 year loc-versary!! I've just turned 3 years too, last week. I've done my reties for the 3 years - I try not to do it all at once and that's okay. Yes your hair has gotten longer

I came from your aphogee video- I wanted to know how that went for you?? I started my locs on damaged hair and my babies have broken off into a bang 😭😭 and I can see them starting to thin in some spots. I was thinking ab doing the protein treatment. Your hair looks great!!

Thanks! You can wash your hair more (if you don’t deal with unraveling) and wear it down and uncovered for most of the time. I think the friction really helps. The back of my hair locked way faster than the front/top.

Congratulations on three years. Still working on my self install. It will be done when I finish lol. How soon did you add oil after install. I couldn't wait and added a little coconut oil and hope i dont have slippage.

Thank you! I probably used oil pretty immediately but my hair is a kinkier texture so I never worried much about slippage or the like.

At least after the 2 weeks to a month. Do you have a loctician? I’d follow their recommendations. If you think your hair may unravel then definitely band it up in sections.
