Tommy Boy is one of our favorite movies!! It brings back happy memories of our honeymoon back in 1995... you might be wondering why?! We took a week-long Caribbean cruise, and the TV in our cabin only had a few movies which just played on repeat, lol! I don’t remember the other options, but we watched Tommy Boy many times that week! It’s so funny! 😂 Thanks for sharing the filming locations. That was awesome!

Thank you for the 'Tommy Boy' U of T locations, those were new to me. The Distillery District locations were a give-away for those of us 'Torontocentric' people. I forgot Schomberg was also a filming location. Tommy Boy was Chris Farley's "Animal House'. It will stand as his benchmark film throughout the 21st century. Meridian Hall has been the Sony Centre, Hummingbird Centre for the Performing Arts and the O'Keefe Centre in its past life. Thanks for the great memories.

I watched the interior factory scene where Tommy's dad is showing him the new brake pad division being filmed. It was filmed at the Kralinator/Dana plant in Cambridge, Ontario

Did you know the cow tipping scene and the funeral scene were shot side by side at Dixon cemetery I believe it's called in Brampton, been to the gas station, hotel, factory whet they shot the scenes where the are walking around in Cambridge, the hotel where hot girl jumps in pool is the holiday inn on Dixie or Dixon rd?

The “ cluck bucket “ scene was filmed at the now closed Salty Dawg Roadhouse in Klineburg Ontario at Highway 27 and Major Mackenzie Drive the building is still there but fenced off. I used to work there :)
