I clicked immediately When Tommy falls in the water I’d would love for it to switch to him and Tommy before the outbreak their in his backyard having a bbq, you can spot Joel and Sarah playing soccer. Tommy says he has to go back inside the house and get more hot dogs as he does he trips on a vacuum charger and it transitions back to the present with Tommy falling on to the ground. He looks ahead and sees a figure he recognizes, it’s Joel after he blinks he’s gone.

This was such an amazing version of a tlou 3. Honestly I wasn't that excited when it was announced by Neil Druckmann, that tlou3 was about Tommy, because I was scared it wouldn't do Ellie justice. But if it'd be anything like this, I would be more than satisfied and amazed. Amazing job fr

My god man, I loved the first part of your series's and after I originally finished part 2 for the first time years ago, I always wondered in a way what a Tommy centered story in his view of part 2 would've looked like. And man you hit the fucking mark. The way you fashioned a custom story with Tommy but was able to tie in known story elements like sniper scene or the gold necklace he finds for Maria. Not to mention the flash backs are extremely well organized and done right to tell us about details form his past.I'm not gonna a lie that tie in scene with Joel and Tommy talking about how Joel and Ellies healing process starting up almost made me cry man. From the sane TLOU community, we thank ya for your hard work on this fantastic project of yours.

Absolutely love this concept, it needs to see the light of day eventually. One thing I would have loved to see if maybe Dina racing down to Jackson to Let Tommy know that Ellie has left to seek revenge, and how guilty Tommy would have felt after accepting she was better off at the Farm. Brilliant video man!

I’ve come to the conclusion that the last of us fanbase has been split into two groups, people who like the second game and people who absolutely hate it , when it comes to a dlc you have to find balance to bring the two parts of the fanbase back together, as much as I’d love a Tommy DLC it would be amazing to explore a major side character that we know nothing about as well as playing as a completely new character that people could love , I thought about this and how it would work , basically you play as Dina , directly after Eli left her at the farm , we start off with her opening a box to reveal a bunch of letter , a map and a diary , she begins reading one of the letter “dear Dina, I haven’t seen you in 20 years , I’ve heard from your sister that you’ve left Jackson , if you’re looking for a place to live then you should come to our base in New Mexico - live from your dad”, Dina packs a bag opens a map and heads to New Mexico , we get to explore the part of the open world that the last of us part 2 fans adored after day one of an introduction into the open world , Dina sets up camp she begins reading another letter “ Dear Dina I want to share my experience of the apocalypse Andy history, it started in 2013 , I was a cop your mom was pregnant with your sister” at this point you’d get to play as Dina’s dad and get to live through his point of view, basically he met Tommy on the day the apocalypse started, he helped Tommy reach Joel and met him back later in the high way after Sarah’s death, they helped each other. After this letter it is day 2 of the open world where we carry on playing in Dina’s open world, she meets a guy taking care of his mum and they head to New Mexico together , at the end of the day Dina sets up camp and reads the second letter “it was about 4 months into the apocalypse, your mum was in her 3rd trimester, we created a group with Tommy and Joel as well as your mom , we also met this lovely lady named Tess as well as Eugene” we get to play as Dina’s dad again and see how they live in the apocalypse by killing people and just trying to survive, in this part the group would meet bill and after a level where you do him a favour with Joel the letter ends. It’s now day 3 as Dina we carry on in the open world and we introduce a new from of the infection, where Dina’s horse got infected and started attacking them , at the end of the day Dina sets up camp and carries on with the letters “We lived as a group for a while , we were inseparable, around the time you were born me and your mom realised that the way we lived just wasn’t safe anymore, we talked to Tommy about it and he had an idea , he said we should join the fireflies , I disagreed , a massive fight happened between us , Tommy and Joel were fighting, we must have made too much noise because a nearby faction heard us” in this scene we get to play as Dina’s dad again where he tries to escape Fedra with Tess , Joel and his family ( Eugene and Tommy left to join the fire flies) , Fedra eventually gets to them and takes them to factions , Joel and Tess get taken to Boston , Luckily Dina’s family doesn’t get separated but they are sent to the New Mexico faction”. The next day in the open world Dina and the boy he met earlier need to sneak through a faction, they have the idea to steal a tank for easy access to New Mexico at the end of the day Dina realises there aren’t any more letters , she’s curious about what happened next , the boy asks Dina what she’s thinking about, that’s when she remembers, she was about 10 , her family lived in the faction and although it was terrible conditions they were still happy, Dina’s parents even had a third daughter, Dina’s mom asks Dina’s dad to get something from the bedroom he looks around until he finds a bunch of letters , it was from Tommy , Dina’s parents started fighting, Dina and her sisters are sent to the bedroom, about 2 hours later Dina’s mum wakes up Dina and her older sister from their nap , we play as Dina as she has to sneak out of the faction with her mum who was taking her to Jackson leaving her younger sister and dad behind. This is the final day , Dina finally makes it to New Mexico with the boy and JJ, she reunites with her dad and younger sister, we learn from her dad that the people inside the faction took over Fedra and killed them , they’ve finally managed to create an organised society out of the old faction where everyone is happy. We cut to 4 months later Dina wakes up her younger sister who is about 4-5 years younger than her , it’s her younger sister’s first day of look out and Dina’s taking her , they hop on 2 motorcycles and look for infected in the nearby woods , that’s when the walky talky goes off , Dina just hears a man screaming, they rush back to see a bunch of infected coming out of crates and the New Mexico base on fire , she looks to see some helicopters dropping more crates full of infected and right on the crate clear as day is the label reading Fedra.

Always bugged me when people didn't understand why Ellie would let Abby live after killing so many people to get to her; it was never a moral thing, not a 'killing bad' thing, it was because killing Abby wouldn't stop the pain she was feeling, Abby would be dead, Joel would still be gone and she'd be just as hurt as ever. She beats Abby, has her at her mercy, and then chooses to let it go she can find some peace. She couldn't choose to let it go after killing her, that's only a choice you can make when she's still alive, otherwise it doesn't make any difference. Not to mention she clearly saw Lev and could forsee that the cycle would never end as Lev would likely come after her, and then JJ would go after Lev and so on and so on...

I'd prefer it if Part 3 had nothing to do with the previous story to be honest. A new set of characters sounds like what the series needs to bring the fans back together again instead of focusing on what split it in two in the first place.
