At 83 yrs of age I thought I had seen it all. Started with my dad who loved Django Reinhardt and the Hot club of Quincy. Since then seeing Tommy Emmanuel, Joscho Stephan, Frank Vignola, I am in heaven, and listen to them most nights. I hope these magnificent guitar players realize the joy they are giving to so many people who can watch and listen to them on you tube. You have brought so much joy to me. Thank you all again

Amen brother, my father was pretty well known jazz guitar player in the 40’s and 50’s. And over the years I forgot how good music was then . You tube gives me a master class every night in guitar. My son said that he read an article that your 60’s are your most productive years. I told him to give me another 6 months and I am going to give my family a concert . Maybe my 19 year old daughter will admire (and like) me😊

There ought to be a federal law prohibiting this it's just so unfair. I've seen Tommy and Frank together twice and my jaw is permanently damaged from hitting the floor. And it's not just speed for the sake of speed, it's so totally musical.

What I don't quite get is that I have been following great guitarists all my when I'm 64 life, and have only just discovered this bloke...he is literally the best guitarist in the world, as well as having such personality, joy and star quality..lets get him on the pyramid at Glasto without delay!!!

Instead of giving up, use it as inspiration. I got to see TE perform on Thursday night, then last night got to do a workshop with Frank and Vinny at Boulevard music. A couple of hours later they gave an awesome concert. I am a very intermediate level and am doing the exercises Frank recommended. Never give up the guitar!!!! We need a world filled with music. :-)

What there is no need for are your crude, demeaning comments. They're having fun while playing. They're relaxed. They are concentrating. Is that wrong? Is it against the rules to look at each other?
@PreservationEnthusiast11 жыл бұрын
I would have enjoyed it more if they closed their eyes and listened to the music like Tommy does when he plays solo. There is no need need for these unsavoury glances at each other, it is very disconcerting.

heelfan1234 It seems a pity that you felt the need to come here with your repressed homosexual desires, to make a comment on something you know very little about. This video is about the beauty and symmetry of music mixed with the amazing talents of three virtuosos. If you attend an orchestrated concert, do you also sit there studying the faces of the players looking for some man you would like to have sex with? Along with your mouth, you should also keep your hands off your crotch, shut your eyes and enjoy the music & revel only in the fact that you are lucky to be alive to hear such virtuosity.
@travboat11 жыл бұрын
heelfan1234 You have obviously never played guitar with anyone else. Do you look at people when you talk to them, or do you just close your eyes the whole time? Communication is a good thing when playing with others.
