Thank you Anthony! I learned this whole record ("Tokyo Recital") many years ago after hearing Tommy play some of this music live in NY. I didn't write down every solo but learned the pieces and the way Flanagan plays them. I think he had a special connection to Strayhorn's music along with Jimmy Rowles and these two are still my guiding lights in performing this music.
