Tommy was making calculated moves. You might have to go back and watch the fight on a play by play fashion cause the amount of calculated moves that Tommy made... far exceeded the calculated moves that Jake made. Lol who are you? What fight were you watching? It's not just that they both landed strikes... what kind of strikes were they? What kind of movements were each fighter making? I think nerves just got the better of tommy. Cause when he looked good in that fight... he looked really good. For not having a pro fight yet on a big stage. Tommy looked like he had no intention in dropping Jake. Any non pro against an average pro should be getting dropped multiple times. Jake never had a chance of winning because his whole idea was pray on landing clean once, kinda the same with JJ. But Tommy definitely created a lot of possible openings that Jake failed to capitalise on where he should have. That’s what JJ saw in the fight that made him think he could beat Tommy

I’m not saying Jake is bad for a KZbin boxer but when you put him up against an an average pro boxer he doesn’t measure up and that’s how it should be. Nowhere in that fight did Jake look like he was in control or had Tommy worried. His overhand trick wasn’t working which is probably a big reason why he didn’t do well because he thought he would’ve rocked Tommy and it didn’t happen.

That fight wasn’t close, 2 of the 3 judges gave Tommy every round but two. Jake got lucky with a jab in the 8th but let’s be honest that should be a 9-9 round given Jake was battered for the entire round outside of that one shot.
