Liliac originated in L.A. as they performed on the Santa Monica Pier almost every weekend, but they got so many big crowds that the Pisr authorities told them they couldn't do it anymore. The band and family moved to the Atlanta area in late 2020. Their farewell video from L.A. was their power ballad "Sail Away." But they did a video at the Georgia Guidestones in the late Summer of 2021, just about 6 months or so before they were destroyed. That video was for the song "Mystery."

I gotta be honest, I'm a child of the early 80's and EVERY song Tommy has covered he has made sound better than the originals! (I know I shouldn't say that) but it true to my ears! His passion and energy are beyond amazing! and this song St Elmos Fire has always been one of favs by the original artist, but Tommy has somehow made it even better!

Great reaction guys❤️. Happy to see my bearded Brother reacting to Tommy again 😍. Loved your t-shirt and that ”Mona Lisa” smile you always have when listening to Tommy, Suesue 😉😂. I have many memories to this song, but a cuple of years after it came out, ( at that time I only listens to Heavy Metal), and this song and movie was’nt as huge in Sweden as I imagine it was in the U.S. But your right, Tommys version is better. Isn’t it always 😃👍🏻??

Tommy gets it. He found a niche here recently where he is tapping into all these old classic 80s pop huts and turning them into power metal versions and it works. Just goes to show you that Metalized versions of any song sounds better. See what I did there? "METALIZED" is the 3rd album by Sabaton, which was actually recorded first, but had a delayed release because something to do with their record label or something...I can't quite remember the story, but basically, their debut album, "PRIMO VICTORIA" was recorded after Metalized, and because it was more War themed, and what Sabaton became known for, was the better choice of what to go for for their debut release.
