He is the only man I've heard so far who can make songs of Kamelot sound like Kamelot. Why do they keep that Fabio WHY?! Can anyone tell me?! Fabio is not suitable for Kamelot songs by his timbre and emotions he deliveres with his voice. Tommy Karevik - FTW!

I didnt think anyone could replace Khan, his voice just draws people in its fantastic and when I heard that Tommy was going to replace him I was a bit dubious, but after hearing him I think hes a fantastic choice and I hope he remains with them :)

Tommy Karevik is a great talent and fills Khans shoes perfectly as he covers these songs. It would be interesting to hear his voice recorded with Kamelot on new material. At that point you'll be able to better judge. He does an awesome job here! As far as concerns about Seventh Wonder possibly losing him...shit happens. It's the music business. Congrats Tommy! Tommy has also indicated he'll stay with SW. As we all know the metal market isn't exactly a 'get obscenely rich of one band' situation it's pretty common that people are in multiple bands concurrently. Big ups to Kamelot and SW!

I agree, Matt Barlow is incredible and I was pleasantly surprised with Stu Block. I've yet to see them live (in person) but he helped bring a new energy to Iced Earth that's been lacking since Barlow left the first time. As for Tommy Karevik, I don't think he'll ever replace Khan in my eyes, Roy was the absolute best there was. However, I'm also pleasantly surprised (so far) from what I've seen of Tommy. I really miss Khan, but the replacement should never been chosen to imitate. Time will tell

@THEBOOMR Fabio has a powerful voice,he really does and a great range.But his tone is horrible,hes singing gets annoying quickly..He just should sing for something like Kamelot...he doesnt have the..well Ill say grace to do so.He needs to stick with rhapsody.Tommy however,does everything right.He doesnt sound as good as khan but with the way he delivers his notes and the softness of his voice.He allows kamelot to sound the same.

I don't know what the probability of that would be because I don't know Tommy personally. He may be a core part of SW, but Kamelot is further up the ladder. He would benefit greatly from this musically and probably financially. When is his band going to hit that 'creative climax'? They may already be what they are going to be. Again, it's all business! ;)

He did actually change his voice quite a bit for Kamelot. When you listen to Seventh Wonder then he has a very different style, it`s more poppy and less ballsy. Guess this guy`s a vocal kameleon of sorts.

@TheArtickus God I totally agree with you....I really just can't stand watching any of the vids with Fabio. I don't like his tone, his pitch accuracy, his timbre, or his stage presence....And you can see, when he sings The Haunting with Simone, that she doesn't really like singing with him either. She constantly is holding her hand to her ear-monitor to hear what her notes should be because Fabio comes nowhere close to Khan.
