“You don’t move the feeder... YOU DON’T... MOVE... THE FEEDER”. Tommy Pickering is simply the greatest in explaining any topic in such a simple way!

An excellent and direct teacher, we are lucky to be able to tune in to youtube and watch guys like Tommy freely share their expertise these days. It's a far cry from 30 years ago. The guy is still as keen as mustard.

At 71yrs old and I am rekindling my passion for fishing, even though I am partially disabled with poor mobility. What a great video Tommy, no-nonsense plain speaking. I'm off on the weekend fishing and will be putting Tommy's tutorial to the test. Two more sleeps lol. Thanks again, Brilliant.

I used to like tommy in the 80s when I was just starting match fishing as a kid ! I learnt a lot from him back then and 30 years on he can still teach us all a thing or two

All the latest tackle and even ready made hook lengths have really made it a game changer for everyone now.i remember the original banjo feeder, ide been using the same home made version and doing well on it long before it was made by Preston innovations. Especially in the winter I was using a coke bottle top lid with a stem obviously. My old man has won many a matches with all types of inventions and still does. Alot of it has to do with how much time you can spend on the bank and compete in some of the big money events. Well you can't knock Tommy he's a good angler as we all know. Keep em coming tommy 👍

Always a pleasure to watch you fishing Tom . just getting back into it after about 25 years , how things have changed lol about 28 years ago I worked on trout farms and was using trout pellets and the dust out the bottom of the feed bags in my groundbait , if only I'd carried on fishing all them year's ago ! I hope our paths cross one day ........

This video is the reason I am going to swap from Bite Alarms and massive Reels to Feeder fishing. I miss the excitment I used to get from Float fishing when I was younger, you where always busy casting in feeding or recasting, and sitting there waiting for an alarm to go off twiddling my thumbs for hours and hours of nothing big Carp fishing is now boring me to death lol. Just received my 10ft monster x feeder rod and Centris 420 reel and can't wait for Sunday to try them out. I am gobsmacked at the quality of the rod and reel, both together weighing just over half a kg. Pencil thin blank and the flat spot on the handle is a fantastic idea. First time buying Preston gear and won't be my last(11ft monster x Waggler coming next week lol). Thanks again Tommy and Preston for putting the excitement back into my fishing :)

Preston Innovations I had method on clip but the fish took bait and snapped me I couldn't get line off clip 8 lb line
@000Karesz0008 жыл бұрын
Well, you have 2 choice. you can try the MAP reels with the ACS system. It results really accurate fishing, but the reel can get the line easily. You have to use some other method, to know where was your line clipped before. This could be marker pen. The other one is when you do not clip the line, but mark the line with marker pen. Make sure to mark at least 50 cm. It is not so accurate as the line clip, but it is something... :) Do not forget to remark the line time to time, before it disappears from your line.
