Imagine where he'd be if he grew up middle class... despite his challenges, his documentaries have been viewed over hundred million times, and shared by the worlds most influencial political figures. Guys, leave the questioners alone. The more direct the question, and the more TR is put on the spot, the greater the opportunity he has to prove himself, and if you support TR, this is something you should be embracing. The point of asking questions is to attempt to make the responder, in this case TR, feel uneasy and see if he can cope under pressure and respond to a specific stimulus without making contradictions. The questioner should never be blamed or accused or bullied, because all they are is, as I say, a stimulus.
@brianmorris80456 жыл бұрын
I think Tommy handled that well. Given he couldn't say much because of what he calls the police double tiered system, let a/holes get away with it, while people who have a genuine concern about what is happening in their country, are prevented from exercising that right to protest. I mean they were not even allowed to visit that monument to the fallen without Tommy being arrested. They were not even allowed to welcome the soldiers home...what sort of country is Britain turning into...where is Richard the Lionheart , or even Maggie Thatcher when you need her...well we know she passed away years ago...but would be nice to have someone like her as PM. Right now, the ruling party, the Tories, are a made up of bunch of bloody cowards who could do more but afraid of the Muslims in their respective electorates...or afraid, more like it of losing the votes of those Muslims. But what is worse, Labour getting in at the next election, then elevating that loudmouth Muslim to the top job of PM...then after that, Britain will be cactus...well it just about is already. We don't want that crap down under but if we are not careful, our Labor party here will totally stuff Australia up as well.

Fair comment :) honestly it takes a little balls to listen to very tough questions, and more to be asked it personally on a public platform in person. Good on Tommy. I'm kinda left in the traditional sense too, I'm amazed how I could now be called far right, just for agreeing with the problems he's put forward here.
@TheAllFathersSon5 жыл бұрын
The questioner is not there to stimulate the speaker, the questioner is there to listen and ask questions in order to understand the speakers point of view and how, through dialog, conflicts can be resolved, and / or problems solved. To say the questioner's motives should not be examined implies interrogation. TR was not there to be interrogated, he was there to try to imply understanding....ie "Why" he has gotten to these conclusions, and asking the questioners "What would you do..."
@davidc38394 жыл бұрын
I didn't agree with Tommy Robinson until watching him talk to the Oxford Union. Now I understand where he is coming from. @willwebster40194 жыл бұрын
I agree with this! The questioner in this case students are young and are looking for something to fight for like TR did in his youth, I hope one day these questioners will grow up, myself included, to be able to articulate ourselves and compose our thoughts to similar standard to TR and many other grate speakers. It's okay to be wrong as long as you can accept it and move on, calling them idiots isn't supporting their growth in society, telling them why they're idiots is a bit better, over a pint would do the trick.

It's a shame that the young chap had to be extremely disingenuous towards the Stacie Dooley documentary. He tried to paint it as if she interviewed only extremists. She actually made a huge point of bringing all of the moderate Muslims to the forefront. Unfortunately you see this a lot from Muslims. It immediately causes anyone who can see through the deceit to be dubious about everything else they have to say.
@brianmorris80456 жыл бұрын
He also would have seen that she came from Luton and was alarmed how it was taken over by cretins who want to implement a law that is incompatible with British Culture, and Western values in general, and their attitude to British Police (who through fear are not up to dealing with those cretins). We don't want that attitude of Islam in any other western country. She has every right to wear those clothes...after all it is Luton, not Lutonstan, but it has become the latter sadly. Like Tommy said, it was only a snippet..the situation is worse than that sadly. The young lad is typical of the political correctness that wants to change the words of people like Tommy, and Katie Hopkins, and other patriots like them who speak the truth. People underestimate Tommy, he is a very articulate intelligent man, who's one care is for his country, but before that, the safety of his family and other families of Britain...everyone in Britain has the right to be safe against people who through what ever way they can, want to destroy Britain...give them too much chance and that WILL happen.

Does Islam teach that a woman is worth less than a man? Absolutely. The only debatable point is by what degree. Quran Sura Verse RE: Women Quran (4:11) - (Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also verse 4:176). In Islam, sexism is mathematically established. Quran (2:282) - (Court testimony) "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women." Muslim apologists offer creative explanations to explain why Allah felt that a man's testimony in court should be valued twice as highly as a woman's, but studies consistently show that women are actually less likely to tell lies than men, meaning that they make more reliable witnesses. Quran (2:228) - "and the men are a degree above them [women]" Quran (5:6) - "And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it" Men are to rub dirt or water on their hands to purify themselves, following casual contact with a woman (such as shaking hands). Quran (24:31) - Women are to lower their gaze around men, so they do not look them in the eye. (To be fair, men are told to do the same thing in the prior verse). Quran (2:223) - "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..." A man has dominion over his wives' bodies as he does his land. This verse is overtly sexual. There is some dispute as to whether it is referring to the practice of anal intercourse. If this is what Muhammad meant, then it would appear to contradict what he said in Muslim (8:3365). Quran (4:3) - (Wife-to-husband ratio) "Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four" Inequality by numbers. Quran (53:27) - "Those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names." Angels are sublime beings, and would therefore be male. Quran (4:24) and Quran (33:50) - A man is permitted to take women as sex slaves outside of marriage. Note that the verse distinguishes wives from captives (those whom they right hand possesses). Hadith and Sira Sahih Bukhari (6:301) - "[Muhammad] said, 'Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?' They replied in the affirmative. He said, 'This is the deficiency in her intelligence.'" Sahih Bukhari (6:301) - continued - "[Muhammad said] 'Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?' The women replied in the affirmative. He said, 'This is the deficiency in her religion.'" Allah has made women deficient in the practice of their religion as well, by giving them menstrual cycles. Sahih Bukhari (2:28) & Sahih Bukhari (54:464) - Women comprise the majority of Hell's occupants. This is important because the only women in heaven mentioned explicitly by Muhammad are the virgins who serve the sexual desires of men. (A weak Hadith, Kanz al-`ummal, 22:10, even suggests that 99% of women go to Hell). Sahih Bukhari (62:81) - "The Prophet said: "'The stipulations most entitled to be abided by are those with which you are given the right to enjoy the (women's) private parts (i.e. the stipulations of the marriage contract).'" In other words, the most important thing a woman brings to marriage is between her legs. Sahih Bukhari (62:58) - A woman presents herself in marriage to Muhammad, but he does not find her attractive, so he "donates" her on the spot to another man. Sahih Muslim (4:1039) - "A'isha said [to Muhammad]: 'You have made us equal to the dogs and the asses'" These are the words of Muhammad's favorite wife, complaining of the role assigned to women under Islam.

An astute answer by Tommy. Yes, fear imparted onto normal Muslims is a terrible thing and no one wants it. However, when weighed up against 30 years of atrocity waged on the British communities by the gangs and police at that point; and the unceasing rise of Islamic terror by the year and the question of the future of the country, that negative circumstance, comparatively limited in impact, is not enough to warrant stopping the protests, or ceasing bringing attention to the issues.

you can have better dialogue with a wall than those who have influence or do the radicalization or politicans. not gonna happen peacefully because by now it's clear their intent is malicious.

Commenting only regarding this video. I do not follow Tommy Robinson, so I do not know if he still has these views, whether he's been radicalised to the far right or not, it's hard to tell with all the propaganda the mainstream media publishes to silence people who are critical of this violent religion. I understand where the young lad is coming from, but what is his (or other like him) solution to it? Trying to reason with the council and the police clearly didn't work in Tommy's case and the extremist problem still kept growing, so while I agree that EDL may have fanned the flames a bit, I truly believe that it's the mainstream media who spread propaganda and painted EDL as racist, white supremacists that are the real culprit to the division between muslims and non muslims. Doing nothing won't fix the problem, as Tommy has said EDL was a symptom of the problem not the cause of it. Revolutions start when suffering people are ignored and problems aren't fixed. I hope that it doesn't come to a violent revolution, but I have to agree with the 70% who think that a civil war is likely when growing issues are largely ignored.

It's just sad racists who are scared of anyone who aren't exactly like them that are the problem.

Good question from ther lad. However, everyone in this country has the right to protest against things they disagree with and if no one points something out, it could go unchecked and unnoticed. This is why everyone, regardless of cause should always be able to non violently protest. I would go as far as saying it's our duty to protest and inform, so we as citizens can start to understand others points of view and possible make better decisions ourselves.

One of the problems that Robinson had at the time that is not so prevalent today, but he does not mention, is the extent to which the excesses of his organizations and others are due to the elites abandoning his particular people and issues. He cleaned up, practiced his speech, spoke well. But where was the guy in tweed with the posh Oxford accent who should have been making the case for him in reports, on TV, in Parliament, so that people like him could get on with his life? When you demonize the opposition, the people who are most sensitive to social ostracism bow out and they leave a just cause to the efforts of uneducated or working class people and disreputable people like football hooligans who do things in their own way, which will involve fists thrown and awful chanting. This would not have happened if somebody had taken responsibility, from among the elites, to see these issues resolved or never appear in the first place.
