I was living there across the road with my parents when the bomb went off. My parents still live there I was 5 years old at the time me and my my friends were building a den just below the house where the bomb went off. Luckily my mum had called me in 30 mins before the blast went off. I was sleeping in my toy box and fell in there when the bomb went off and nobody could find me.😅 we were evacuated to the army camp for a few days. Great to find out the truth as I thought they were planning to blow up the wellington hotel in Brecon. Will never forget my parents telling me about how high the car jumped and hit the ceiling when it went off 😂 lucky I’m still here today.
