I grew up in the UK through the 70s, my father came over from Jamaica in the 60s legally, and worked hard to make it happen. He became British and adhered to the British ways. He would be turning in his grave seeing what's happened to ole Blighty, and was one of the most loyal Jamaican immigrants to walk the cobbles. Actually all of the "old school" immigrants were of the loyal breed. He would laugh his head off on Sunday night watching Jim Davidsons Chalky impersonation, piss himself watching "Love they Neighbour" This stuff of course wouldn't even make on to the telly today. Of course there were a few daft heads (real right wing) back then, but they were a minority. We all knew where we stood and had fun back then and most importantly tolerance. Everyone would stand up for England no matter what creed or religion. Alas not today. The UK leaders have dumped on the people over the last few years hard. Its an offense to hold the union jack for god sake. And now have the cheek to ask us to stand and fight on foreign soil in a fight we don't want? Good luck with that. Men are gone and all we have are little "S-o-y" boys. Good luck with getting a loyal army together. One upon a time in the UK we all respected each others Culture and religions - not any more.
