UTS London Systematic oppression of women, gay people and non-believers is not a view held by the radical. It is core to Islam. The reason why Tommy speaks out against Islam and not Christianity/Catholicism, is because those are religions that the fabric of western culture was built on. Though I think we will find a lot we disagree with each other on. I believe in God my dude. Just not in the way most religions do. I don't see God as some personal deity, a man with a beard or a cosmic being. I see God as everything. Perhaps Islam or at least parts of Islam see God this way too. I certainly don't think many of your views apply to middle eastern or Asian countries. There is most definitely a side of Islam, just like Christianity or Judaism that's intolerant, that teaches hate. Though there is certainly a side of all these religions that teach something quite different. I would put this down to interpretation. I don't mean to personally attack you, in fact it was wrong of me to generalise a lot of the thing's I've said though there are some hard cold facts involved I think we should all be talking about and I would like if you'd respond to some of the points I brought up previously.
