@@RoccoHernandez87 vcoaster wasn't referring to the mechanics or arrangement. It's a simple song in that it's easy to sing, remember, and enjoy. Tommy's songs always sound deceptively simple, but often involve odd little key shifts.

Oh, the memories! I'm now 69 and wasn't it just yesterday? How time flies. One of our local stations plays all these songs. I feel like I don't know the artists today!😂

I will be honest i originally only Dizzy due to the 1991 vic and bob cover, i now own Tommys version on 7 inch and by this video at 80 yrs old HE still has got it. Top man pure talent

Love his music. I have seen him live a few times along with Bobby Vee and a few others years ago. Bobby was a family friend , great meeting Tommy Roe in Fargo ND back in the early 80s!

war 14 jahre jung und in einem Zeltlager. Wir hatten einen Discoabend wo ich Dizzy zum ersten mal hörte. Das war 1969. Über all die Jahre ist es immer noch Echt Super. Danke Tommy. Ich lebe disen Song.

I was living in the same town as Linda Blair when I first heard this song; about four years before her appearance in 'The Exorcist' (and my name is also Tommy, btw). It was around that time, late 60s, that my older brother used go over to her house and give guitar lessons to her older sister. Do you all remember the scenes from 'The Exorcist' where her head spins around?
