It can’t be Britain without wind and rain eh 😂 I’m surprised Tommy’s Santa hat didn’t get blown off his head. I’ve seen the Midland Pullman myself down near Grantham on it’s northbound run to Edinburgh, it was nice hearing the sound of a HST which is something that I’ve not heard for about 6 years since they were retired from ECML duties. I also saw 34046 Braunton down in London doing Santa specials from London Victoria to Willesden and back. Guess we’ve all been kept busy 😃

Yeah, the wind isn't as bad today as it was yesterday. Yesterday, we would have definitely said goodbye to the hat 😂 The Pullman has been through Newcastle loads the last three weeks. It broke down on the way home on Friday and was stuck at Newcastle Central Station for 2 hours!!

I was at Newark for the midland Pullman only for it to be 2 hours late at Newcastle, by which time I was already on my train. 😢

Steam and diesel ( plus your local Muga pitches ) all with the standard services in a seven minute video. A rich diet before Christmas. Have you got any engineering works scheduled locally over the shutdown period? If you could get to film them, even if you have to put your wellies on to tramp across the fields, that would make a different type of episode. Good post-meal exercise!

You should get there as fast as possible! Us Americans are different from other countries for two reasons, these are reason I know. 1. We are the only country that has states. 2. We use Fahrenheit while everyone else uses Celsius.
