Do you use measurements when making your bowls (segmented rings) or are you freestyling it. How do you know how many segments for each size ring? Thanks and love your videos!

I freestyle, I just change the how long I leave the outside of each wedge. An 1/8 of an inch will increase the ring a good bit.

What where the dowels for set up for two ring layout

What were the two dowels for? I noticed you put them in when you glued it up, but they seemed to be gone when you came back to it when the glue set.

Sometimes when you glue up the pieces they don’t quite match up so if you glue up the 2 half’s and place a Dow between and let it dry, you can sand the 2 half’s later so that they match.
