GE bells have a scratchy tone of a Safetran type 3 low tone

Yes, the right gate is attached to the cantilever.

How many GE ebells exist?

Not very many. I think CSX and KCS are the only Class 1 railroads that have used them, and CSX only used them for a short time.

Seattle soundbound light rail used them, i saw alot in person, i saw like 10

These in East Chicago are I believe the only ones in Indiana.
