Tommy, before I found your channel I had no real goals and aspirations, just was an extremely hard worker that knew if I didn’t actually develop a plan, develop my financial literacy, and invest and live frugally that I was just gonna work till death but I have been loving my journey since I’ve been studying for 2 years and I wanna say thanks for introducing me into a whole different mindset that has benefited me in so many ways because you opened up a whole new world to just a kid who didn’t come from much, both immigrant parents just a first generation college student trying to make it just like how you were 🙏🏼, keep doing your thing sir you are helping those that actually want it 💯

Another money-saver is learn how to do some basic car maintenance. Changing the starter, alternator, radiator, cabin blower motor, belts, hoses and brakes can all be done in your garage if you have come basic tools and knowledge.

you don't have to spend allot on food and still eat well. I buy 1 onion,1 pepper,1 carrot,2 potatoes etc also most store have a section where they have packaged vegetables which may not have many more days left if they don't get used. I buy meats and break it into what we will eat in one meal and freeze the rest in meal size pacaged. So I can make multiple meals.

Yes about the salons and nail care. I used to go to the salon every 6 to 8 weeks to get my roots done. Now I switched to getting balayage or ombré done once or sometimes twice a year. Looks better anyway and more natural. And now I only do pedicures 2 to 3 times a year. Once in the spring summer and fall. I used to spend close to $1500 to 1700 a year on my hair and nails but now it’s around $150 to $300. I also don’t do waxing. I bought an epilator and use that instead. Took about 3 sessions to get used to it though however it’s massive savings in the long run. Like in the thousands depending on how often you did it before.

I came to America 3years 7month ago, my first day at the barbershop they charged 30$ for haircut, so I told my wife to buy a clipper for me at Walmart for 40$, ever since I have been barbing my hair myself, and I have saved over 3000$ so far.

There are so many little things that are easily big things like groceries and gas and car maintenance and such. Most people do not know how easily save on groceries, cars, gas, insurance by doing a little research....and doing it all while not having to clip coupons. I appreciate videos like this making this information known!

I'm 22 and qualify for ssi because of bipolar but choose not to take it because I would like to be self reliant and not locked into the lower class, like my grandfather was. he worked as an assistant to a financial advisor, but never invested his own money until i talked him into it in 2020. he outsmarted me doubled his money in GM on a day trade. but he has been locked into a savings balance isnt allowed to work and cant grow his savings past a certain threshold. so this is why I invest.

Im a disabled vet from long time ago. I drove semi truck for many years. As I got older my disabilities came back to haunt me. I tried, but eventually got fired (I cant physically unload a trailer or walk long distance). I filled for unemployment 6 months ago and still haven’t gotten anything. yes, nevada is very back logged. I did build a savings while working. Im just learning stock market. not investing, just learning. Im 58 and im worried I will end up on the street’s. How I pray I can make investing work. pretty sure my life depends on it.

Thanks for all your tips. I truly appreciate everything! I always tell young ppl to go to community college first to save a boatload of money. My goal is to save 50% of money I earn so I can enjoy a healthier life. I used to work 16 hour days for an 8 hour wage as a salaried healthcare employee. I could've had two jobs. My health suffered!

Credit cards are cool as long as u use less than 10% of ur limit and u pay it off by the due date.... Think of it as u borrowing from ur future self. But as long as u have those funds no matter what.

I go to the dollar tree to buy the fake nails. They work just fine and I don't have to waste so much going to a nail salon. Same goes for the hair salon. As long as the hair dye in the stores covers the gray, I will not be wasting my money on a hair salon.
