This was the last recording Tommy Emmanuel did before the pandemic started in the US. It was produced by Tommy, engineered by Brad Benge, mixed by Tommy & Brad Benge, and mastered by Marc DeSisto. He wanted to do something special for John Lennon’s 80th Birthday (10/9/20).

RIP Michael. We had the pleasure to hear him play this live at a home concert in Wheeling WV, just a few miles south of where some of the Steel Mill scenes were shot in the Deer Hunter. You could hear a pin drop while listening to him. Such a talent, left way too soon to go to the other side.

Lennon’s not in heaven and he’s singing about it on the song, unless he got saved. Jacob Prasch gave him the chronicles of Narnia two weeks before he got shot. you have to have Jesus as your Lord and Savior to go to heaven. For Him to be your Lord you have to do what he says to do & read the Bible. Bible does not contradicted by 40 writers proving both, that God wrote the Bible and that man is without excuse on judgment.

I wonder what John’s reaction would be if he could see this. Absolutely stunning. I’ve been a fan of Tommy for about 15 years and have met him once. Worked at a 5 star hotel in Nashville and several places in Hollywood meeting many famous people, Tommy was the only one that had me star struck. All I could tell him is “you’re my hero” and he said with a laugh “I’ll play my best for you” never will forget that moment
