He apologized to the streamer who he did it too, which was Pokimane, and they even agreed to do a collab to show their audience that they aren't beefing and to not use him as a platform to hate on Pokimane.

As a non biased fan of Jidion, its very unlike his character and humor from his videos to bully people. He has a history of making a bad joke or two, but never so much as to bully and actually harass someone. He is someone to own up to his mistakes, like how he owned up to his mistake to troll hate raid Pokimane and they made up because of his responsibility. That is why I'm waiting for his response to this, because I do feel as though this is a huge over reaction. Tommy can make it known not to put content of him in the video, its his right. But, Jidion has a right to respond to the accusations. So, I'm making no assumptions other than one side thinks one thing and the other hasn't responded yet.

As a fan of Jidion, I am scared that this was another over reaction to his jokes. If what he said was bullying people, then that is such a far cry from his character without any proper evidence, that I just can't believe that it is 100% true until Jidion admits to it (he admitted for many things he got wrong and is known to take responsibility all the time through his content). His character also shows that he is only wanting to make a joke, and never make fun of someone because he was repeatedly bullied as a child. While Tommy can say he doesn't want that type of behavior again, insinuating that he was bullying fans is a bit of a dangerous stretch when you think about the over reactions that the DSMP fans have been involved in situations.

@@mach1822 Even if he didn't intend to be a bully, he will still be perceived as such until he apologizes. The fact is that his actions hurt people. And I agree that the DSMP fans can be very quick to jump the gun and be rather irrational, but if the creators feel like it's bad enough to be addressed, then maybe it's not that much of an overreaction. The creators are usually (not always, mind you) rather level headed. This could certainly have been a joke-gone-too-far kind of situation, but in that case it would be best to publically apologize and admit that he did, in fact, go too far.

While it's unlikely, because this is the DSMP fans we are talking about, and probably some of the same ones we see on twitter, there is a chance that even some of his fans overreacted as well, causing the creator to overreact. I just don't see Jidion being that much of a menace that he is going to bully almost everyone in line (unless he was just dumb and thought it was a good idea to insult people). But yeah, until we hear his side of the story, he will still be perceived as a bully, per the standard of the internet.

I do hope everything was just a misunderstanding and that things will clear up. And ironically, I hope that you're right. That the fans just blew the actions out of proportion. A lot of things fall under the label of "harassment", but our brains usually connect it to very bad things.
