Yeah but they kinda did tho. If you play warriors orochi 4. Most of the God's characters are sharing certain moves from this game along with their counter parts. But honestly what get me trigger is I hate they change my boy guan ping and made into a scrubs. Damn he was badass in DW5 with that reverse grips great swords style. But now wow talking about making him side kine and not evening important 😒

@@yokoyokome5281 yeah.. his playstyle was one of my favorites in dw5.. But speaking about the characters in the vid, I dont quite see it.. The movesets & weapons look too different from the gods in WO4.. I love DW9 new combo strings, but damn the weapon roster being the same are a downgrade.. I do hate the "weird" weapons from certain characters in dw8, but at least they are different.. The playstyle from those early characters looks to good to be missed.. And why can't they bring old moveset back dammit.. Guan Ping dw5; Gan Ning dw5 river sword, dw6 twin knives; Diao Chan dw5 mace, sima yi dw6 claws, etc.. Geez..

@@GReyn fuxi nuxia sun wukong and sanzang are the same. Yinglong moveset is literally a clone version of xiang yu the dude with the twin great swords that fight lubu throughout the story and pretty dog following beautiful yu. And now you have Xi Wang mu. Which daji moveset is copy from..

Thank you very much for the video. It’s a shame that they didn’t include the new characters in warriors orochi, as I think they are Chinese mythology figures. They really should turn it into a mythology crossover musou franchise.
