@Mr. Blackpilled Beast The devil/Lucifer took a form of a serpent to target Gods creation, Adam and Eve, to get revenge on God. Because Lucifer wanted to be like God and so him and the other angles had a war in haven and when they were defeated, God cast Lucifer and the other angles out of heaven for eternity. @MrGilfred8 ай бұрын
The third question is easy for me because the answer is simple. God is allowing evil to exist to show man that his way of ruling is not best for him. That is the reason why we are suffering. When Adam and Eve said to God we would be better off without your guidance choosing for ourselves what is good for us and what is bad for us. God said okay but you will do so without my blessings. So God is allowing man to find out on his own that he cannot successfully rule himself independent of him. 6,000+ years of human rule has proven God right. Man has dominated man to his own injury. That third question to me is like saying how dare God have consequences for disobedience and rebellion. But the same would be true for man. Man's governments make laws that he expects his fellow man to obey. There are consequences that happen to those that break those laws. That is in the form of fines, probation, community service, jail, prison, etc.... Even consequences for making the wrong choices that are not crimes still happen in man's governments. Here is something for atheists to think about. Since god to them doesn't exist. Then evolution is to blame for all of the evil and suffering in the world. Meaning that if it can create man with a conscious. Then for some strange reason it unable to program man in a way where he is always good. Where there would be no evil at all in the world of mankind. There was a challenge in the Garden of Eden. The challenge that Satan made was to God's way of ruling. So the challenge is who's way of ruling is best for man God's or man's. God decided the best way to find out was to give man time to try every form of government that he could possibly try within the time limit given. The whole beauty of when God's kingdom rules the earth as it is in heaven. The time when man passes that final test and all obedient mankind has their names etched into God's book of life. The beauty is that there will never be another challenge like this one ever again. No one will ever dare challenge God's way of ruling again. If anyone did then they would be instantly destroyed thrown into the second death which there is no resurrection like all others that willfully disobeyed God before that time.

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and strive to live up to it.

I am a Born Again Christian since 1994. I have seen so many Supernatural things in my life in the last 10 years. The biggest was waking up in the middle of the night to see this face staring at me. Like Samuel in the bible who heard God's voice. That night I heard the same voice. He told me that I would soon know and recognize this face. He kept his word. Several weeks later while surfing youtube I come across this video of the face I saw that night in my home. This 8-year-old girl had painted this masterpiece of Jesus. She did it that well it looked more like a photograph than a painting. I was stunned by what I was seeing in front of me. This was Jesus who I saw in my home that night. There were two differences I saw in my home. His face was lit up more. Meaning there were no shadows on his face that were in the painting. Akiane explains why in another video. Plus his robe was a different color. He did this so the devil would not try to confuse me by saying you saw this video before, not his face in my home. Well, I got news for him. He is a liar. I will leave you the video of the face I saw in her video that night below. Akiane has done a beautiful job on this painting. What even makes it a real miracle is she was only 8 years old when she painted it. You see Jesus was also just a boy when he spoke in the temple on scriptures. The scholars, and priests were amazed at what he knew about in scripture. Only as a boy. So friends never believe what these atheists tell you. They are liars. How can you even speak on a subject that you know nothing about in the universe for example? They are guessing. It is the oldest trick in the bible the devil uses. You see God told us that the devil lost his brightness because first of all angels do not know or understand the things of God. Scriptures tell us that angels only long to look into things. So they are not all-knowing like God. They are like a traffic investigator. Where God knows exactly what occurred at the accident. Also, remember these facts. After Jesus died and rose again a lot of people saw Jesus again. This was my experience. I did ask him why others were not seeing him. He said the answer is already in the bible. It is found in Hebrews. He rewards those who diligently seek him. If he did it any other way. He would be lying. Which he is not. I had just finished living a life of a Modern day Job for him. I had a heart attack, and cancer, and lost three fingers, on one hand, to help someone struggling. Lost a huge amount of money on my home, and my wife left me because of all the things I see in my life. I am not mad at her because she was deceived by the devil. Jesus also reminded me of verse mark 10:29 recently. We are to be very faithful to him. Can you imagine going up to someone when they asked you if your best friend? Who you knew for years actually existed. Then you said no. What a terrible friend to have around you. It is why we are to be faithful and loyal to Jesus. I hope you enjoy the video. God Bless ! kzbin.info?search_query=akiane+kramarik

@@thaddeusramos3543 The number of people who believe something is not necessarily related to whether it is true. The naming of phenomena after the various "Gods" is irrelevant. But if we are going to look at numbers, the really important point is that the groups you mention believe in the existence of DIFFERENT and DISTINCT "Gods". They do not believe in the same thing. So, using your figures, nearly twice as many people think the Christian "God" is fake as believe it actually exists. And let's not forget that people who call themselves "Christians" do not believe in the same "God", fundamentally. Ask the Protestants about the Catholics or the Baptists about the Mormons, for example. I wish he expanded on the science behind answer 1. The universe had a beginning, and it operates within 4 dimensions of space-time (3 spacial and 1 time). These are interconnected, which is why traveling through space effects time. The physics of matter in space cannot be understood in absence of time. In order for something to start, it’s cause cannot be dependent on existing within what’s being started. Like a Sims Character cannot create the computer it’s being played on. Therefore, something outside of space-time has to have been the point of origin. God is not nor ever been bound by time. This is one of many problems with the Big Bang Theory, because a “quantum flux” requires a cause, and a “start” is a point in time. There can be no start if the cause of that start had to have happened within a point in time, which does not yet exist in the absence of space or matter. This is the basis for Newton’s 1st Law of Motion and it breaks the Observer’s Principle in quantum physics. Something needed to cause the quantum state to change, even if it’s the act of observation, otherwise it remains in a state of uncertainty. I know why he didn’t expand on any of this, but I wish he did because it’s fascinating.

There are two different languages. There is the language of the atheist and there is the language of Yahweh. There is no communication between the two because the atheist does not want to communicate in the same way that Yahweh wants to communicate. For example, Yahweh says, “Let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet...” (Isaiah 1:18). The first thing on Yahweh's lists for discussion is your sin. However, for the atheist that topic is the last thing on the list. Also, it's not what you believe in, it's about what you love (Mark 12:33). The atheist's remedy to explain all his theories and to discredit the Genesis story is to add the construct of billions of years. But on the other hand, everything in Genesis is created in its adult form from the beginning. The trees, the animals, mankind are all created in their adult form. That also includes the universe. And an adult universe would and should appear to be billions of years old. Atheist do not understand that consciousness is not a chemical formula which could ever be created in a lab. When we talk about the elements we are talking about our experience of the elements through the miracle of consciousness. I would agree that the churches today are defective. In fact, the Apostle Paul pronounced a curse on most churches today because the main Christian denominations of today preach a different gospel than what Paul preached. To quote exactly what Paul said, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). Both apostle Paul and Peter preached the same gospel and quote from the prophet Joel (2:32) saying, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21). The English translations say “Lord” instead of “Yahweh.” But “Lord” does not translate “Yahweh” it is a substitution of a totally different word altogether. This substitution activates two additional curses because if you substitute a word you are both adding and subtracting at the same time. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18, 19) We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that YHWH spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). YHWH did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of YHWH shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none! Paul makes it very clear that the end result of him preaching the gospel was that the people would call on the name YHWH. He says in (Rom. 10:14,15), The preachers are sent. They preach. The people hear. The people believe. The people call on the name YHWH (Rom. 10:13). I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none! It took only one generation after the death of Joshua for the children of Israel to forget the mighty works of YHWH which He had worked through Moses and Joshua and to began to serve the idols of the people around them (Judges 2:7-13). It took only one generation.

I guess my final point will be about atheists themselves. It is true that some atheists form a belief that God doesn't exist and could be labeled gnostic atheists claiming to have knowledge. Most atheists however label themselves as agnostic atheists. What does this mean? It means the default position is not to have a belief, where forming a belief requires something as a reason to form the belief. We have a claim that at least one God exists, people offer their reasoning as to how they came to believe this to be true. Both agnostics and atheists simply find fault in this reasoning and thus nothing warrants belief yet. An agnostic atheist doesn't know if any Gods exist, their position is that there hasn't been any good evidence or reasoning to suggest that any do exist. There are loads of good reasons to suspect all religions are completely man made, even if any Gods do happen to exist. Even people who try to claim pure agnosticism don't have a belief and if they do they would be considered agnostic theists, not pure agnostic. Without the claim of any Gods, meaning theism didn't exist, the person who is not a theist (atheist) is still not a theist even if they are completely unaware that theism is a thing. That is why atheism is the default position and requires nothing. Agnosticism requires the claim of Gods as does theism. Theism is generally taught. People who were not raised theists can find reasons to become theists but we have many examples of theists who were raised that way becoming ex-theists simply because theism fails to make an adequate case.
@scottguitar8168 Жыл бұрын
There is nothing that demands a God must be good but theists making certain assertions about the properties of God raises reasonable questions, such as how does a perfect God create imperfection? Even with the excuse of free will, a perfect creation would have perfect free will. If the creation is not perfect, the Creator thus cannot be perfect. If a God does not stop evil, then it raises the question of whether He is all powerful or just doesn't care?

I'm neither religious nor an atheist. In fact, I don't care at all whether a god exists or not. I do like christianity though because the values it teaches are good for a stable society. For me, science is what matters the most, and everyone regardless of their beliefs should agree. If you believe god created everything, why wouldn't you devote your life to learning more about this magnificent creation? Even if you don't believe in god, learning as much as possible about the universe and its rules should teach you the insignificance of arguing and fighting with others, and to pay attention to things that actually matter. Even though the theory of evolution doesn't explain everything, that doesn't mean it's wrong. It would be better to say that evolution doesn't explain how life formed - yet. Give it a few hundred or thousand years of peace and no destruction of the world and I promise it will be at least 99% there, because that's how science works: scientific model of the universe is an approximation that approaches perfection over time, as long as previous knowledge is not suddenly wiped away. The fact that we can't explain the formation of complex life yet can not be used as an argument for intelligent design, which is a "god of gaps" mistake you seemed to fall into in the video. It's possible that at some point, once science has discovered everything there is to discover, intelligent design will turn out to be the only possible explanation, but until that point, the argument is invalid. (And I'll be clear, me saying that argument is invalid does not mean I don't think it's possible for a god to exist, I just want to point out the flaws of that argument.) The people asking those 3 questions to "catch" theists, calling themselves atheists, fail to see that they too have something they blindly believe in, even though it's not an absolute, empirically proven fact. In my eyes, they are no better than those who deny science. In fact, anyone who rather trusts their own beliefs instead of what has been scientifically proven, is ignorant and doesn't think logically. Yes, this includes those who believe every word in holy books to be absolute fact. I'm fine with using the books as a moral guide, in fact I wish more people would start doing so - too many people nowadays have no sense of mutual respect and politeness - but saying that the world was created at a specific date some thousands of years ago and therefore dinosaurs didn't live 100 million years ago? I can't respect such an illogical denial of information. Also, there's one thing I'd like to say to all those who think science and religion are mutually exclusive things and use that as a reason to argue with people, to atheists and religious people alike. Since god is an omnipotent being that exists outside space and time, he could have created all of space and time at once, maybe 6000 years ago or whatever the biblical dating says, in a way that everything began in a big bang 13.8 billion years ago. Since god can not be observed, an atheist can't prove it wrong, and even though it's not mentioned in the books that's not proof of it not happening so theist can't prove it wrong. And even if you think this idea is absolutely ridiculous, it should show that arguing is pointless because it's possible to come up with any number of explanations that satisfy both views. Sorry for writing such an essay here, I just have not had a change to write down things I've been thinking and felt like this is a place where people might read all this and genuinely consider what I said instead of just reading a couple lines and throwing in an ignorant response. We'll see if I was right about that.
@lizadowning4389 Жыл бұрын
"Since god is an omnipotent being that exists outside space and time" That is the basic assumption of most christians.And that is also where they stop. They fail to present any evidentiary substance to his omnipotency. They equally fail to provide evidence in support of his existence. Stating he "resides" outside spacetime is nonsensical and a cop out. We have no knowlegde of "outside spacetime", one could equally ask "what is north of the north pole". "he could have created all of space and time at once" This is an inference made on the presuppositions that he is omnipotent and outside ... Since both are unfounded assumptions, scant of any evidence, such statement is unwarranted. Theists excel at presuppositionalism, any inference made thereafter is useless since they fail to establish their premises as true or plausible.

Nice video. Production was great, it's just sad that the answers you gave have been equally bad. So bad, that even if I was to grant you all of them you would still be incapable of demonstrate the truth of your religion. They demonstrate a generic god at best. #1 This answer make a lot of assumptions. It assume that the universe was created, it assume that if it was created it was god and it assume that god wasn't created. #2 Not a question atheists would ask. Not most of them. I'm not saying the subject is never brought up in arguments with theists but normally it's not in this context. It's usually more during discussions with young earth creationists who are trying really are to deny the theory because it goes against their narrative. It's also quite ironic that you mention god of the gap as the opener and end it with a god of the gap argument. "Well, evolution doesn't explain everything therefore I'm validated to think it was god". #3 First, the bible say it's god who created evil, so you can't really blame it on humans. See Isaiah 45 verse 7 Second, even if it was the case that humans cause evil, it's not all evil that is from humans. There's such things as natural disasters and sickness. Third, if satan help so much to promote sins then a good god would remove him from the picture. It's not like he has any power over god. Fourth. if there is such a place as heaven then a good god would want us ASAP. There would be no waiting until we are deceased. If you think it's because we need to learn then you are wrong. He already know how we will be when we die. He could create us like that, as if we had lived a whole life, with just the memories of it. Fifth, if god is good there would be no hell. "bad" people would just cease to exist or never exist in the first place. Eternal torture serve no purpose except to scare you in behaving. If that's the best way he found to do that then he's not really all powerful.

I find it hard to believe that an atheist would ask question number 2, this sounds like a Christian straw man since most atheists understand evolution as the mechanism for life "evolving" into other life forms. Evolution doesn't explain how life began, that is Abiogenesis. Evolution also doesn't explain how the universe came to be. Evolution doesn't even prove a God doesn't exist, only that evolution is the mechanism for the diversity of life we have. Perhaps that was God's plan should one exist. You certainly made the case for the God of the gaps because we do have a history of supernatural explanations being replaced with natural explanations after learning them. The only problem evolution creates is it contradicts the Genesis account in the bible. The bible however has many things that are known to be incorrect but even the bible being a purely man made product doesn't mean a God doesn't exist, only that the bible demonstrates a lot of human ignorance.

Hello. I am an atheist. I define atheism as suspending any acknowledgement as to the existence of a god until sufficient evidence is introduced. My position is that *_I have no good reason to acknowledge the existence of gods._* And here is the evidence as to why I currently hold to such a position. Below are 10 facts I must consider when evaluating the claim made by theists that a god exists. To be clear, these are not premises for an argument concluding there to be no gods. These are simply facts I take into account when evaluating the claim. 1. I personally have never observed a god. 2. I have never encountered a person whom has claimed to have observed a god. 3. I know of no accounts of persons claiming to have observed a god that were willing or able to demonstrate or verify their observation for authenticity, accuracy, or validity. 4. I have never been presented a valid logical argument which also employed sound premises that lead deductively to a conclusion that a god(s) exists. 5. Of the 46 logical syllogisms I have encountered arguing for the existence of a god(s), I have found all to contain either fallacies or false or unsubstantiated premises. 6. I have never observed a phenomenon in which the existence of a god was a necessary antecedent for the known or probable explanation for the causation of that phenomenon. 7. Several proposed (and generally accepted) explanations for observable phenomena that were previously based on the agency of a god(s), have subsequently been replaced with rational, natural explanations, each substantiated with evidence that excluded the agency of a god(s). I have never encountered _vice versa._ 8. I have never experienced the presence of a god through intercession of angels, divine revelation, the miraculous act of divinity, or any occurrence of a supernatural event. 9. Every phenomena that I have ever observed has *_emerged_* from necessary and sufficient antecedents over time without exception. In other words, I have never observed a phenomenon (entity, process, object, event, process, substance, system, or being) that was created _ex nihilo_ - that is instantaneously came into existence by the solitary volition of a deity. 10. All claims of a supernatural or divine nature that I have encountered have either been refuted to my satisfaction, or do not present as falsifiable. ALL of these facts lead me to the only rational conclusion that concurs with the realities I have been presented - and that is the fact that there is *_no good reason_* for me to acknowledge the existence of a god. I have heard often that atheism is the denial of the Abrahamic god. But denial is the active rejection of a substantiated fact once credible evidence has been presented. Atheism is simply withholding such acknowledgement until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. *_It is natural, rational, and prudent to be skeptical of unsubstantiated claims, especially extraordinary ones._* I welcome any cordial response. Peace.

With a television you don't have to be supernatural. God prefer that because it's more social but we have to use it correctly. Right now we have anarchy blindness. Despite the anarchy blindness I figured it out. That proves we can be God like. Only a person getting crucified would suspect something greater. They crucified me with exact same disease that in pink Floyd the wall. Victor said it's all good. It should be possible to make everything all good.:‑X

Even though I 100% believe that God created the World.. Idk that 7 days then are like now, His time is different tha n ours. Ive stayed many times to an athiest that it may ha e looked like a Big Bang, but God, caused it. Idk all about evalution... Except many parts of it very well may have evolved in time We know some things do.. But God was still the creator. How ever too much to not have a creator. Your last one is what my athiest friend asked all the time.. All the time.

This doesn´t look very promising... he starts out with an ad-hominem fallacy, when God supposedly calls non-believers fools. You realize that sentence wasn´t inspired by a god, or, at least not a wise one. Then, the first supposed atheist question.. the answer is a "special pleading" fallacy... "everything was made by a god... except my god, which is special... "(how do you know that?)... The second question is a straw man fallacy (evolution explains everything)... he knows it´s a straw man so it´s easy for him to debunk it. Plus, he doesn´t trust science to explain "everything"... we must rely in god.. which is exactly a "god of the gaps" explanation.

Now the third question hits the nail in the coffin for the "loving god"... simply put, an all-powerful god which allows all the man-made evil and won´t intervene is either evil, indifferent or, most likely, nonexistent... in all those cases this god doesn´t deserve to be worshipped.

Which god? What *evidence* do you have to set your imaginary friend up as any different than Anoia, Benzeiten, Cronus, Dionysus, Eros, Freya, Geb, Hera, Isis, Jupiter, Kephri Loki, Marduk, Nemesis, Osiris, Poseidon, Quetzalcoatl, Ra, Saturn, Tengri, Uller, Vesta, Wadjet, Xanthe, Yakshini, or Zeus. There are over 1100 different religions, and your preferred religion, Christianity, is subdivided into over 42,000 different denominations, persuasions, movements, communities, schisms, sects, orders and cults. Many of them involved in violent disputes with other "Christians". This very disunity among followers is the best possible indication that there is not a single grain of truth in the entire stinking cesspit of religious ideology.

@@Terry-ol9ioWhy should I believe in a minor character in your pathetic puerile pantomime when I already don't believe in the principal character? I have as little fear of being denied entry into "heaven" as you and I both have of not being admitted to the feast halls of Valhalla. You threatening me with hell is like a child threatening me that Santa Claus won't bring me presents if I don't believe reindeer can fly.

@@John_Lyle Daniel 12:4 describes the end times as an era in which many run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase, ancient words that well describes our modern world today. James 3: 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

@@Terry-ol9io People have been regurgitating that recycled garbage for over two thousand years already. There were idiots preaching "end of days" claptrap even while Herod was still alive. Doesn't the bible say that some of the audience to a sermon by Jesus would not die before the triumphant return of Jesus in all his power. So how many 2,000 year old people do you know of?

Your rebuttal to the "who made god" question is very poor as you have failed to understand the meaning of the question. First off the question is "What caused god" not "who made god". But its similar enough i guess to address. Every atheists knows the answer to this question and thanks for giving it again. God is uncreated/eternal or an exception to the rule that applies to everything else. Great! When exceptions to a rule are possible (thanks for providing that for us). You can wonder what else could be exempt? What other things could be uncreated/eternal? What reason is there to think god is the only exception possible? None is given. You giving the exception opens the door for other things to be exempt as well. The universe might not be eternal. But whatever was before the big bang could also be uncreated/eternal with this logic. So the question is about forcing the christian to make an exception to a rule which can than be used to deposit an alternative solution to a god.

It can be a little hard to comprehend that God exists outside of time and space. Time and space are created things for the purpose of Him creating a family for Himself. That is the purpose of life. For you and me and everyone ever born to become a member of His family and receive eternal life, not just the temporary life we now possess. When God has accomplished that He will create a new heavens and a new earth for all of us to enjoy forever, one that is satisfying and eternal, again unlike this present evil age. I hope that helps Aidanya.
