I’ve had these for a good 2 years or so and have had no problems. So far…so good 🎸🎸🎸

I’ve been using these live for 2 years. Really can’t fault them. I use a second transmitter to make guitar switches really quick on stage.

Have been using one these kits for nearly five years. We were raising a quite boisterous puppy who felt the guitar cord, with its' tastey rubber coat, was a way cool toy to yank around and chew on. Once he started in on the second wire, at around $45 a pop, I started looking and found this brand which sold for a reasonable price. Transmitter in the guitar; receiver into a string of four MXR effect boxes; uber quality short cord into a Fender Princeton Reverb amp. Have to recharge the transmitter every 2-3 days. Since I don't move my rig, I just leave the receiver plugged into the charger. These are a good thing, I love it!!

Thanks for the video. When I’m done playing, can I leave the transmitter and receiver attached to the amp and the instrument and just turn them off or do I have to remove them? Would it rain battery if I just leave them in?

The difference in fidelity with wired vs. non is like night and day to my ears. The wireless sounds compressed and abrasive.

Will these work with my Ibanez AZ Premium model? 🤔 Or is the jack to far in?

So what's the real technical issue with active pickups not being supported? Too hot for the U2? Noise? Other? I'd like to get one of these, but my PRS has Fishman Fluence humbuckers (active) in it.

what is the point of distortion in tests like this?

What is the point of using the gear in a different way than you would in a real life situation?
@edmatzenik98589 ай бұрын
@@mrcoatsworth429 the point is that as a demonstration those of us thinking of using it could extrapolate how we'd go with our own FX or lack of any if we heard it clean. In this case we can't tell how much distortion is from the radio link or the FX.

@@edmatzenik9858 fair point, man.

@@mrcoatsworth429 I made a doco once about another brand. I walked around a bowling green playing bass through them to test the range. the test sort of worked alright but if you watched it on a mobile phone you couldn't hear the bass from the very start. (incidently I've got a set of X=Vives now and they are very good.)

I have this and it crushes the dynamics too much. Has almost a clipping sound when you play with a distorted tone. You get what you pay for in wireless world.

Mine lasted less than 1 year. Awful customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this Company.

Sounds like you got a faulty unit you should have returned it that's on you. I recieved one with a broken quarter inch jack and they happily sent me another one after I sent the unit back to Amazon and the female I spoke to on my phone was very nice to speak with.

@@justinbowen1183 lucky you to have Amazon and it's awesome customer service. That's not the case with xvive distributors outside the US. I spent a whole year trying to return with both my local store and xvive directly in china, just to be left with no solution.
