Good info. No need to worry about resetting barista assist. The machine constantly monitors the flow. If you change your beans , the machine will automatically change its recommended setting

Have you done a video making different drinks using the different milk setting on the frothier? Also a video making every coffee option the machine has to offer and showing every drink when they are made? that one I'd like to see how the crema comes out with every drink style option. I mean the Crema IS what makes the coffee smooth. Thank You for this video was super helpful!

Good info. I just opened mine. Did the setting up. I only got drips after about 6 tries. So I adjusted the grind myself and didn’t press the tamper very hard and it was better.

Fantastic video. The UK version also allows you to increase the temperature of your coffee, which is great as by default it didn’t seem very hot to me

Thank you for making all these videos on this machine. I have a Breville Touch machine for almost a year and a half, and honestly, I have probably pulled maybe 3-4 good shots out of it. I got to the point where I was hardly even using it anymore because I just couldn’t pull a good shot. I am seriously thinking about getting the Ninja Luxe Cafe. You make it look very easy to use. Please keep giving us more of these videos. I love them. Also, I’m just curious about your coffee. Do you roast your own beans, if so, do you have a medium roast? Thank you so much!

the beans are roasted locally in a small st louis coffee roaster then shipped out. its a medium to dark roast maybe more medium. I only have one roast right now. Thanks for your support.

Hi I just purchased mine from bestbuy and I seen now they have one that comes with a single shot.... also should I factory reset mine? After I grind the espresso and go to brew it nothing comes out the first time I press it again then it comes out. I take it apart and clean it after every use not sure why it doesn't work at first press, have you experienced this?

I have had mine for 2 months now. I put a 20oz travel mug under it and I select 16 oz and for some reason it always overfills the mug. I wonder if there is a way to recalibrate for amount of water it flows when making coffee.

When your adjusting h-09 for a slightly decreased brew strengh, does that mean it’s decreasing the classic coffee brew strength only and not the espresso?

I love espresso, and I am used to my old Nespresso pods. I bought this Ninja machine to get rid of the cost/pollution of the pods, but after trying it for 2 weeks, my double espresso coffee shots are just too strong! I have already tried 3 different kinds of coffee, I tried changing the H09 and H06 special adjustments, but it is still strong. Do you have any other recommendations? I am about to return the machine, but I would love to keep it... al the rest works really well.

I don’t know if this would work but u can adjust the output ratio for the espresso. A commenter wrote to dial in what’s perfect for you increase the ratio, use a scale and stop the machine when u r at the amount u want but it would,be more dilute.

Yea mine have been strong as well.. At first I was using a light roast bean then switched to medium roast and that helped a bit. I'm playing with the ratios as we speak to see if that'll fix it for me.. We'll see 😅

I saw that Ninja sells the bean hopper separately. Can I just get a second bean hopper to have one for crema beans for the drip coffee and one for espresso beans? Or is it not possible to keep them in there out of the machine?

An extra bean hopper would be convenient for different bean types. The issue is that when you remove the bean hopper that still has beans in it, there are an amount of beans that remain in/above the grinding burr. You can either grind it and toss it/ set it aside, or pick the beans out by hand, using the little cleaning brush they provide.

I bought the extra hopper and returned it. It is not airtight because of the dispenser, so if that matters to you, it’s not worth it, and is more inconvenient. I just pour the beans as I use them

Have you heard anything about using flavored or oily beans, I have been reading about them building up on and clogging the grinder to where it freezes up? I was using a flavored coffee bean so I hope I didn’t hurt my grinder ugh.

My Nespresso I could use a pod to get 8 oz of coffee for my wife to fill her Stanley to make her vanilla iced latte. I bought this ninja luxe and when I make a double shot espresso it's very small amount and no longer can she fill her Stanley for work. If I do a quad shot, the quantity of liquid is better but is 300mg caffeine and still doesn't fill her Stanley. So I did the brew options on the right and did drip coffee for her Stanley and it does the right amount of ounces for liquid for her Stanley but now her drinks taste too sweet and not "coffee enough" for her. Is there a setting to pull a double shot espresso (150mg caffeine, maybe 7-8 oz total) and have it be strong enough / full enough to make her large cups fuller of iced latte? Sorry if this was phrased weird. It's my first semi automatic machine and I can't find the resources to answer my odd question.

Title is click bait. There is nothing “hidden” about this. This is just the settings menu. I was expecting something truly hidden like holding a certain button combination would unlock other settings such as for a single shot, etc.😢
