I’d be nice to know how they compare in difficulty to clean.

BEST NINJA AIR FRYER EVER. I have the original one on the right. Looking to buy my 83 year old Mom one - now that she is sold. Thanks to your comparism - I have decided to buy the one on the left. I prefer the newer one! Supporting your channel....buying it here!

I have the older sp101 model and I noticed another difference ehen you where filming the inside. The fan on newer model is in back and older is on the right side, also fan looks larger on newer model probably making more efficient in air frying mode. Really like versatility of these small ovens, maybe not as fast for air frying than a standalone air fryer mainly because fans are not as big and not backing directly the heating element. But they more than compesate with versatility, still air fry well plus much more. Love that you can cook full 12" pizza and much faster than using large range oven that take maybe at least 15 min just to preheat at 425°. Was really surprised when used first time and preheating was basically seconds ! Got mine really cheap on clearance sale about 1 month ago, now same store snd amazon put the new model black Friday week sale only $10 more yhan what I payed mine. Oh well...still happy with mine

Ninja is a little misleading about the preheat. My ninja takes about 7 minutes to actually get to temperature when you use a separate thermometer.

So how long does it take to make toast from start to finish? Including pre-heat? Manufacturer says just "50% faster" which is nothing meaningful.

EXCELLENT COMPARISM

How does noise level compare? The old model can be a racket when hot running in air fry mode.

Does tbe bottom open on both models to clean? Thanks
@robertpeters610821 күн бұрын
I think so, I can confirm that older model sp101 can, you can pull out crumb tray like a drawer but also completely open bottom plate when flipped up, and I assume the newer model also

I have the older model and oil or something leaks into the flip mechanism and when I stand it up it looks yucky. Mine has been through the ringer so I’m considering upgrading to the new one

Have you baked cookies or cupcakes? If so, how did it do?
@QuantumHealer7 күн бұрын
My mom bakes cookies in hers all the time & loves it. She tends to whip up a big batch of dough, then make fresh cookies as desired- since this heats up so quickly & is more energy efficient than full sized oven. She has the older model. I have heard that on the newer model the bottom doesn’t open so cleaning may be more difficult.

I've had the one on the right for about a year and can't stand it. While it's great for air frying and baking cookies, it's burnt quite a few cakes and forget about any cuts of meat taller than 2.5 inches. The heating elements above are too close. I replaced an older Breville Smart Oven and am considering repurchasing it. The Ninja is too shallow for my cooking needs.
@robertpeters610821 күн бұрын
If I had the room for The Breville probably would have went for it, it is considered the best on many lists I checked out for convection ovens, a bit expensive though.

Can you fit a round 12 inch pizza in it?
@robertpeters610821 күн бұрын
I have one and yes i always use it for cooking frozen pizzas up to 12", much faster than a large oven.

I just worry about cleaning it and having all the crumbs end up flipped to the bottom recesses where they just keep burning and smoking up the kitchen every time you turn it on. How can you clean out crumbs?
@jadesea5622 ай бұрын
The bottom of the unit opens like a flip out door. The entire bottom. It makes cleaning the interior easier than any other airfryer. At least on the "8-in-1" unit. I dont know about the one with the buttons on the door.
@samnewton595929 күн бұрын
@@jadesea562 I believe that the new model does not have the flip out door.
