Good comparison, I just got the Roomba i9+ for €1100. It’s doing a damn good job. What I like is their idea of sanitation. If you look at the dream you can clearly see why iRobot wants you to clean the mob yourself. There are a lot of bacteria in there that you just don’t want… I think Roomba will invent a way for the floor map to be dispatched in the future. Because that is a briljant idea by the dream. I have an idea for Roomba and will send them my design idea. Love these machines❤

Thanks. This is what I was looking for exactly!

It doesn’t make sense to me. Cleaning the mop manually means you have more direct contact with bacteria. The iRobot Roomba Combo 10 Max features an automatic mop cleaning function, so the issue isn’t about hygiene, but rather about limited functionality.

Just got the Dreame x30 ultra and the base station is so much smaller now. Also, L20 ultra is $1000 on Amazon now, it’s a no brainer deal

Thanks for your videos, I like the way you do the tests in real time. I was hesitating between this magnificent L20 ultra and the Roomba J9. I am amazed by all the technology that is implemented in the L20, it seems like a big leap in cleaning robots, but... I have been reading many reviews of the L20 and what really doesn't impress me is its long-term reliability, I dont want spend more than 1000 and after a few months it starts to fail as has happened to so many other users. I have always used Roomba and I have had several, the last one has been with me for more than 10 years and is unbreakable. I think I'll continue with Roomba, safe bet!

Excellent comparison video. I went with the J9+ combo from Roomba. It is way more compact, has lesser height (can go under low furniture) and the whole self mop cleaning seemed not worth the extra few hundreds to me. Thanks again !

I am returning the roomba J9+ now. I had high hopes…. But it doesn’t consistently work for me. For days on end…. For $1700.00 with 4year warranty, I expect a bit more reliability than that…. We have had ours 2 weeks….. I am thinking about just ordering the dream.

We just got the L20 and other than ME being old and not very Tech Savvy, I have been impressed with the performance! I'm not used to using my cell phone other than texting my sisters, so the whole aspect of installing the app and using my phone was a teensy bit weird to me (I still have a landline that I use as the primary phone lol) But the Dreame l20 really is a awesome robot. We got it at 999.99 and I think the money was well spent.

I've got my dreme x40 coming in a few weeks. Not a typo. I'm done with irobot after constant error 31 on my s9+

Great video! Love your reviews. I would really like to see a comparison between the J9 Combo and the Narwal Freo X! I'm debating on those two robots for a home with mostly hardwood floors. Keep up the good work!
@JustADad8 ай бұрын
I wojuld get the freo, it just works. unless you want. a cheaper one thenthe j9 is ok, the j9 has great avoidance like dog poop and cables, the freo is just ok with that, but is an great cleaning machine

@@JustADadi was torn between these two and the roborock s8 pro ultra! I love roomba products but I just feel I would be washing the small mop pad so frequently. Does it empty the dirty water out of the roomba as well as fill it?

Hi! I just found your video thank you for review. However I have to ask to your opinion.. We have a 120 m2 flat with wooden floors and dog with a long hairs. Which one would you recommend if my main expectation is the vacuum in the pet hairs?

Do roomba mop cleans the grout in the floor tile? Looks like not very much. Can you please share what your experience is with grout cleaning?

I prefer to clean the pads myself. I don't trust the "Dreame" to clean the pads adequately.
@Pi0tras203 ай бұрын
Will you do it every 10 square meters or every room? Because if not, then Dreame will do it basically better than you for sure.

I have the j9 Plus, and it seems to have issues when it comes to area rugs. Depending on the color it'll think it has reached a cliff. And then puts out the SOS for me to move it. Sometimes this occurs underneath the sofa. Or even just against the coffee table. I have yet to have it take a picture of any obstacles. Have you heard of any potential updates to those issues?

The L20 looks like it saw the paw prints and then turned the other way.... did it actually clean or did the Roomba clean all the prints
@iGoByKyle8 ай бұрын
With both being the same price on sale which would you get. I’m honestly stuck deciding between these two. Same many different pros that each have over the other, a few just for example better suction on Roomba and dual roller vs single roller on dreame. Dreame has self cleaning for mops and Lidar, but I’ve heard dreames customer service is non existent
@JustADad8 ай бұрын
the Dream is my pick, but the base unit is big!!! the roomba is nice , but it does not wash the mop pads which I think is important, but on the Roomba changing the mop pad is really easy,

I was torn as well and got the l20 ordered because of the extending pads to clean edges better.
