The Bissell battery runs down completely after one three-seater couch. The suction is not as good as on the Little Green, but it is still good, and the portability is great. I think it is a very well designed unit and has a smaller footprint than the Little Green. Will be great for the car, too. I cannot imagine using the suction on the low setting, it is definitely not powerful enough. Charging time is 4 hours.

Just ditched my 2nd Hoover spot cleaner (corded) - both failed for the same reason, hose dry rots and splits open (this model may do a bit better IF the connection points do not have an immediate bend in the hose due to how you wrap/store it, but the material appears to be the same stiff and failure-prone one they use on the corded version). On the Bissell, you can disconnect the hose (and hopefully buy a replacement but have to check on that), and the hose material looks to be softer/more pliable and the connection points are more inline with the hose in storage - @JustaDad, can you confirm this?). Oh, and my in-laws just ditched their corded Hoover for the same reason. Regarding nozzle width, I actually prefer the narrower one on the Bissell as it gets into tighter places (we have a floor model for cleaning entire carpets or larger areas). One pro for the Hoover is the removable battery (not for extended runtimes as that does not matter for its intended use, at least in my case), which means one could replace that once the battery ultimately looses capacity after a few years, but trust me, the hose will fail well before that so who cares.

I feel the Hoover is the better choice with its modular battery and spotlight. Apparently Hoover makes a similar model for Ryobi called the swiftclean. You think you can do a comparison of those two?

THANK YOU for mentioning the Ryobi model. I was about to pull the trigger on the Hoover, but I already have a ton of Ryobi batteries so I dont have to invest in a completely different battery ecosystem now. I picked up the Ryobi spot cleaner earlier today.

I just bought a Shark Stainstriker PX202. Now I'm second guessing my decision. I was considering the Bissell cordless for convenience but was concerned it wouldn't be powerful enough. I definitely want a 7" attachment though, and Bissell's solo attachment prices are insane.
