Absolutely awesome. Loved the opening scene with the eagle - stunning!

I love that you tried to think about me, a woman who opted to NOT go up Jagungal on my last trip that way because I couldn't be bothered with the overgrown track haha. Epic work ladies! It does make me keen to go back for a loop.

Yeah but we didn't run through the middle of the night with literal frozen feet 😂

Inspiration girls! I did it clockwise some twenty years ago. I thought I had completed my last major walk some two years ago, it was the second time walking the Overland Track, Tasmania, this time with my daughter. The first time was solo. I am now 73 years old, and passed my pack onto my younger daughters' partner. After watching your amazing coverage, I think I will ask for it back. As I said, inspirational!

Thank you for the kind words! We set off anti-clockwise just in case I didn't make it past the first day... so I wouldn't have too much of a climb back to the car (the team very kindly didn't tell me this reason until after our trip!). At 73 years young maybe you should borrow that pack back, talk about inspirational! - Anne

Awesome Vid! I also tried the fabled northern descent off Jagungal when I did the AAWT last year. Ended up finding a creek and following that down just after the weather station, was an absolute mission, you guys really captured that type 2 fun!

Thanks Ethan. We also followed what could well have been that same creek but opted to stay out of it where possible due to the relentless ankle traps and possibility of snakes. Definitely character building!

Beautiful scenery, quality camera work and entertaining to watch! Love the story line and how you incorporated the perspectives from Anne, Anna and Chloe. Looking forward to the next adventure!

Appreciate that thanks mate! I'll be putting the hard word on them for round two ASAP! Anne may take a bit of convincing but i'm sure she'll come around 😂 - Dean

First climbed it in 79 and been back 20 times. Sad that the snow gums have been so trashed. The new o’keefes is much nicer than the original. Try getting over to Wheelers hut at too long. Amazing.

You guys rock with that carefree attitude and derring-do, enjoyed the video immensely. And it is a lovely part of the country. Only hiked to the Tooma via Dargals so far (that's where the good fly fishing is :) )

Glad you enjoyed it Norm! That would've been a great trip also. Keep any eye out on the Toms Outdoors Fly Fishing channel for some future fishing videos with Anne. There's plenty of fishing trip plans brewing!

Loved this video, awesome Scenery, not to mention the adventure, well done girls for taking the short cut...just adds to the adventure and unknown...did you only see the one snake, I would have thought you might have seen a few. Either way Jagungal Wilderness ...Loved it...cheers.

Thanks heaps Matt! We did see a few more but that big copperhead was a serious sized specimen. Anne had a run in with a red belly while fishing but less snakes than expected all together. There must have been plenty around through the off track sections but we all did our best to mentally block out that fact 😆

We did the north ridge off Jagungal on the AAWT. I totally agree - don't do it!
