This song was one of my Dad's favorites. When he died at the age of 92 in Germany two months ago, we played it at his funeral. It was such a moment of magic, beauty and harmonious remembrance that it lifted up all our spirits. Thank you wholeheartedly for composing such deeply moving music and lyrics, so brilliantly interpreted. We listen to it all the time.

I first heard this song in June 2009 and hear I am listening to it again for the hundredth time here in 2021,and every time I listen, it reduces me to tears. I can't explain the beauty and pain and elsewhere of this song. Those who've said likewise will understand. And maybe it shouldn't be more widely known because that way we can keep it to ourselves.

wow . . . I wish one day all the young people of the world starts to embrace true musicianship instead of worshipping the endless stream of singersongwriters, "producers" DJ's and all the other talentless stuff that keeps creeping around on this commercialized planet. Simply put, I love this. You guys have a great talent for soulful music

There are many more like this out there but the major record labels and radio stations are not interested because this type of music doesn't fit in with the current music scene!

You think singer-songwriters are inherently untalented? Or producers and DJs, both of which professions require literal talent? Tough luck, if everyone embraced it then it would become commercialised. Same goes for your music.

@ funkyspanish - You are so right, those opening piano chords. Definitely moments of Crosby, Stills and Nash and Neil Young influence in some of their other tracks, particularly the vocal harmonies. Bought the album yesterday and it really is all this good. Can see me still playing it in 20 years, it's got that timeless feel to it.

Yes, it truly is a great piece, Im just a bit baffled how it didnt even enter the uk top 40. When I was younger yhoud have to sell hundreds of thousands singles to get into the bbc chart, nowadays you only need a couple thousand. Youth mostly are responsible for the radio 1 chart, why on earth havent seen how great this song is ? 13,249 views, should be over a million by now, very modestly.

There is no GOD, but there is a sense of wonder that has nothing to do with organised religion. It is creations like this that should make people rejoice in what humanity is capable of and inspire us to make a difference to the world we live in. Not just so that humans can go on creating things like this but to ensure we still have a world that our great, great, grandchildren can find to wonder at.
