My dad always came home really late, so he usually never had time to read/talk to me after work days. I always heard my friends at preschool saying how their dad reads them bedtime stories and I always felt left out because mine never did. thank you so much. i never grew up with a dad in the most critical moments of my life since he passed 8 years ago. the pain still feels very real. for a while, its nice to feel like you dont have to figure out things on your own and just relax knowing that your father is there. theres no way this 45 minutes can completely heal my wound, but for a while, i feel peace. thank you for being the father figure i needed.

I’ve always wanted this as a child. Things happened and I never got to experience this until I got too old for me to experience it at all. When I got stressed when I was younger I used to read these sort of stories and trace the images to help calm down. So now this video has become such a comfort, I’ve been going through a lot and find it hard to sleep, this is one of the few things that helps.

i don't usually cry. i almost never do, actually. there are times i even try to force myself to cry because i think i'm heartless, but 2 minutes into your video i was already tearing up and in less then 5 minutes there were tears running down my face... this video reminded me how i never had any bedtime stories read to me as a child, even if i begged for it. perhaps i should work on my daddy issues and oversharing tendencies, but for now im just glad i got a story. thank you.
