TOMY Plarail Doctor Yellow S-12 model 922 T3 set unboxing review and first run

lots of planning (I made several drawings of the track plan and finally got it to a point that I was happy with and was possible to make it) and some $ for track and time to collect every piece I needed and finally to build it once the right way. Its 5x 183cmx90cm folding plastic tables with the bridge section sitting on 2 saw horses and wooden boards. 5 fake grass mats and lots of track. And needing the space to do it and keep it set up for a long period of time. Had it up for over 6 months.

I bought a Tomica hypercity set that was heavily discounted, brought it home and started to have a play and then hunted through my boxes for the kids old thomas engines and it all started again from there I modified Duck and Gordon and bought some engines and made a video about them, the rest is history hehe. I did get a bit involved in playing Thomas with my oldest son in around 2003 we had a small latout that I painted green and the tracks were screwed into the wood.

The yellow coaches looks nice. And great improvement on your layout. I like how you add the bridges that go over some tracks.

LOVING THE FLYOVER!! Rumor is with WDW's Monorail, they'll put in a flyover beam, but back to subject!! The flyover is NICE!! Perhaps instead of those 45 Degree curves, use a wide 90 degree curve. And I'm Lovin' Dr. Yellow too!! Especially the fact yours is unique as a 4 car set!! It looks like a nice train!! I'm VERY TEMPTED to do the same thing you do!

Thanks!! I have an auto points (2way) on the way so the engine/train will enter the city loop and then next time around will travel the full main line and then automatically back into the city loop then back to the main line etc etc :P

the problem with my layout is the consecutive corners (corners in a row) and with 8 cars the cars topple over. I want to add weights to the bottom of them and that should stop the falling over cars and let me make that video. I had the most success with 4.5volt Gordon so far he has the speed to keep the momentum up so theres less yanking on the cars causing derailments plus he is strong!

I didn't know your dad was in this hobby. I'm in the hobby, too. I started with the D51-200. But my D51 is a different design from yours. My latest Plarail acquisition thus far is an E5 and E6 combo pack.

I think you should try attaching a 9 volt battery to it because it goes faster than that
