I own a hit toys Thomas but I used to own a plarail Thomas. But something nice about my hit toys is that I was able to paint the foot plate white and I attached a coupling to the front of the locomotive. I try not to play with it and I try to preserve it.

Quickquestion, I recently came upon a henry with brass battey Terminal, a pai Ted face and his bottom says 1993 made in japan. Is he a rare item i should hold on to?

1. apparently there was a tomy thomas candy line where it was the regular old tony model but the back had a hole where the candy could come out and it was motorised but it was pull back i think. do you know any pictures 2. painted on face? do you have any pictures? i thought the faces were all 3d

Yes, there was a pullback Thomas and Percy with removable cabs full of candy sold by Yujin, which is a subsidiary of Tomy which is now called Takara Tomy Arts. I have several of both, there are some pictures here drive.google.com/folderview?id=130bA7jNizFHkzvAr7xePuHQg6YkR62Pa All the faces are 3D, but the earlier ones are molded in black plastic and are part of the smokeboxes, and then painted over white plus the black for the eyes and brows. If they get scratched, the black shows through. The later engines have separate faces molded in grey plastic and then attached to the smokeboxes, and are not painted other then the eyes and brows.
