I had this growing up, but I didn't know what the hell it was. My grandmother would pick up random stuff from yard sales frequently, and this was from one of her hauls. I would take it apart and put it back together. Didn't have any others, just that one. Cool stuff man. Thanks for sharing.

I knew I was never going to go viral with this video but my motto for all the obscure stuff is "somebody has to document this stuff!" It always feels good to know I sparked memories for somebody, digging deep into the toybox. Starriors is not one of the big toylines from back in the day but everybody knew of it if you were there.

This is a cool mechanical figure. The amber orange face canopy reminds me of Zoids. Cool review of this rare figure I haven't seen in a long time and forgot about since then. Thanks, Mike!

I didn’t do any research like I normally do (sometimes I like a mystery) but I think in Japan Zoids and Starriors were somehow connected. Both were Tomy. Glad you liked it! I like showing that there were other cool toys besides gi Joe, motu, and Star Wars back in the day.

@@BlackTerror Yes, plenty to choose from in addition to the main classic lines. Thanks! Interesting they're connected through Tomy's Zoids. Tomy also did great work on their 1980s Tomy Robot line including Verbot, Flipbowl, etc.

@@BlackArroToons I have Verbot…. It’s buried in a tote around here somewhere!

@@BlackTerror Cool! I still have my Verbot too from 1985. It doesn't move but the red on button lights up. The gears broke down over time from not being used.
