@WackaJawacka I think you will find, if you listen to both songs closely, that Butterflies hasn`t sampled anything from Broken Glass. They have just used the same technique of using the strings for rhytm, rather than in more melodic parts of the song, as is more common in pop. Broken Glass has a harder sound - naturally with the differences in lyrics - than Butterflies, and faster speed. So plagarism it is not.

Tvjumkieful12. Thanks for the comment. Came back to listen to Broken Glass and Butterflies again. Inspiration for BG? Mozart? Once Butterflies settles down it spatially occupies the same sort of ground as BG. Even the dragged snare punctuating BG has it's countererpart. Considering both are vocals/strings(or themed on strings) with a backbeat. Plagarism of a concept. Sampling is the norm now. That's cool, Inventiveness is great. After all that. I loved the song. It is cute.

Why not just drag your creative palette right off the hits that cut through the radio playlists before! Downright plagarism from start to end, but excellent airplay!
