Coming from a Tuvaluan, Te Vaka’s Opetaia is half Tuvaluan and half Tokelauan... Most of Te Vakas songs are in Tokelauan, however some of their songs are in Tuvaluan. Languages are very similar both have roots of Tongan and Samoan. Also Opetaia I believe was raised in Tokelau where his dad is from. His mother is Tuvaluan from my home island Nukufetau...

That's crazy as my papa is tuvaluan and he's from nukufetau too. Man everyone I meet that's tuvaluan are always from the same village.

I'm tuvalan , so I just want to thank you guys for knowing that tuvalu is part of the island's because mostly people always say Samoa, Tonga , cook islands and nuie and they say tuvalu so thank you guys so much
