She Talks to Angels - Lexington Lab Band

With our 24th episode the Lab Band takes on The Black Crowes, often heralded as "the most rock 'n' roll band in the world". With 8 studio albums and over 30 million records sold worldwide the brothers Chris and Rich Robinson took their inspiration from the 1970's-era blues rock and morphed it into their own brand of southern rock 'n' roll. Hailing from Atlanta Georgia, the band released their 1st album, Shake Your Money Maker, in 1990 and produced such hits as Hard to Handle, Twice as Hard and She Talks to Angels. We chose to focus on material from the first 3 albums and are excited to have guest artists Vincent Grino (percussion), Katie Feola (vocals) and Carson Childers (bass) join us for the first time! Dale I'm just waking up here in southern Ontario morning to this tune. That acoustic sound hooked me on the first strum. I don't know any black crows music but I liked this one. Your band always sounds great but this acoustic hit a new level in my ears. I've heard many good sounding acoustics but you make this one great. The harmonics I've never heard so nice on acoustic. Supper job again and congrats to all the band. I know it takes good work and dedication to end up with a product like the stuff you guys do.
