OMG YES. Brussels sprouts are SO GOOD if they are done right. Not all mushy and covered in butter sauce. They don't even smell like most people think, they only get stinky if they are overcooked. I love them roasted with garlic and avocado oil, yum.

Our #1 'cheat' is WINE!!! :) We also LOVE chocolate, fresh baked cookies, some dessert when we're out to dinner with friends and celebrations. We try to do the best we can, and I know it seems redundant, but moderation really is key. We try not to call them 'cheats' because we don't want to feel guilty about it. Just work hard and choose your favorite treats wisely, plus~ you earned it!!!! Also, with your TIU workouts, your metabolism will be through the roof!

Try sauteeing them or even roasting instead of steaming. I think for those that have been scarred by the over-boiled brussels in their childhoods steaming is a little close to home, so try another method :) The TIU beach babe plan has a few great suggestions. My dad HATES them but agreed the rosemary and garlic roasted version from TIU was agreeable :)

Moderation is key. I eat very healthy which is why I just subscribed to you girls but I also enjoy food just enjoy the things that aren't so good for me on a daily basis, in moderation. Moderation is definitely key as you said. Diets don't work because your body feels deprived and you just want to binge on things you're saying no to. Just enjoy it but do what my hubby and I do and share a dessert or whatever.

You can combine the two or make your own version with apple cider vinegar :) It really is so great for you and your metabolism! Also, if you want to make a batch for 3 days you can!

It was a little steamer bag, it was supposed to be with garlic and butter, but i just still hated them. But, i love stir fried cabbage, just not boiled. My mom used to make brisket and boiled cabbage w/ potatoes when i was a little girl, i was the only one in the family that hated it, and the way it smelled.

Hey Katrina, Have you tried mixing your tuna in a bag with hummus to make another healthy alternative to the traditional may based tuna salad. I love it and have been meaning to share this yummy idea with TIU. I like tuna, 1-2 tbs hummus, with onion and/or celery and a bit of sea salt. Super delicious! :) Kristen

When you say you eat half a bar before your workout, then the other half later, do you wait in between eating the first half before working out? If so, how long do you wait?

Most yogurts actually are, you just need to check the ingredients. Some may have a higher sugar content than others, but usually they're balanced and very healthy. Oh, and those two are certified nutritionists, if they say something is healthy, it most likely is. Do your research.
