The antagonism between the Social Democratic Party and the Communist Party had long divided the German left. After the Nazis banned both parties and labour unions in the summer of 1933, many people, including Bertolt Brecht, believed that only a united front of social democrats and communists could fight back against fascism. In 1934, at the request of fellow theatre director Erwin Piscator, Brecht wrote the "Einheitsfrontlied", calling for all workers to join the Arbeiter-Einheitsfront, the Workers' United Front.

Einheitsfrontlied lore, thanks.
@cgallegos21062 жыл бұрын
The only problem was because the KPD was Marxist-Leninist, which meant they wanted absolute power. If they truly formed a united front it would’ve led to a Spanish Civil War situation with the Popular Front, the Stalinist core suppressed the Anarchist, Liberal, and Syndicalist factions and thus led to dissolution and internal wars.
@azurebookllet92162 жыл бұрын
In other words, it was written right after the time for the thing it had called for was lost. I find that's really the theme with a lot of songs on this channel. Many of the most interesting and complex songs are written by and for some of the weakest and least relevant forces in history, and I think that's no accident. You do not really sing about what you already have; you sing about what you *wish* to have, and by extension, about what you are lacking in. The worse your side's situation is in reality, the harder your artists have to try to motivate your people.

All I know is that, unfortunately, the sega is coming to the end, two, three. But that doesn't mean that Ingen will upload one last video of this. There is that there is one more place that the song didn't reach. A continent with the most nations, unique tribal agricultures and most importantly, got European kingdoms to colonize it. Might i ask why didnt you put the map or the flag of north Korea
@Ingenting4 жыл бұрын
Because this song is South Korean. Sung in South Korean dialect, South korean artists, published in South Korea, etc. I'm pretty sure this song wouldn't even be legal in North Korea if it ever came out.
