I assume this is 19km one way. Do people usually hike back to the start point or is there shuttle back? Thanks

A must do if you have alpine hiking experience. Any videos you see are likely pre lockdown. The chains have gone, steps and support walls are crumbling and formed paths have disappeared. Without high throughput this path is no more. You must have decent boots, poles and water. Don’t be surprised to find yourself rock climbing.

Interesting take, we've done the walk a couple of month ago again and have found it busy, well marked and no sight of having to "rockclimb". Thanks for sharing.
