I always wanted to learn how to play video games, but I end up doing sports. Even in undergrad and grad school I had a chance people wanted to teach me . I just couldn't do it. I think I just don't have the attention span to learn. I will say I do like the tournaments because of the commentary , they do a great job. Also a big shout out to lil Majin . I like his channel. I hope he does another tournament one day .

As a noob, I couldn't figure out why JOECRUSH didn't use his Rage Art at the end of that combo and ended up losing that round...also, WTF is up with Alisa's chainsaws, that chip damage is crazy!

Looking forward to when this game is in a much Bett state that allows for more nuanced, interesting and fun gameplay ( for both players and spectators). The big june patch with changes to core mechanics ( homing throws, Heat Dash, heat burst etc) will hopefully deliver that. Tekken 8 vanilla time will finally be over and not short enough it was 😅.

Joe crush needs to use rage art when ever alisa is plus frame. The ammoujt of time he couldve stole the round was insane. Alisa was pressing every time she is plus frame. The while running 1 from alisa, she was pressing right after and joe crush can rage art. Or simply just use it cause alisa player was not respecting RA.

Love watching NA and EU tournaments, so much character variety in top 8s. EVO Japan was all Dragunov, Feng, Alisa and Law. Straight up tier whoring snooze fest.

Wtf are you on about? Top 8 was Steve and dragunov (lowhigh), Lili (chikurin winner), Alisa and zafina (chanel), 2 laws (mangja and double), Nina (infested), 2 eddy (jeonding and Tekken master). No Feng and 1 dragunov for 1 match. That's 8 different characters in top 8. Meanwhile this tournament was all Lili, Nina and Alisa. The only unique one was Anakin with jack. Which id rather not see ever again, one of the most boring characters.. alongside king.

Infested got bodied and dumped out of top 6 immediately without winning one set by a Dragunov and Law both broken top tiers. Zafina used one round and Chanel switched back to Alisa. tbh he would have lost in the semi finals if that rage art hit. That was a BUG for sure. Timer is supposed to stop when rage art starts. He knew he lost there, deep down in his heart. U could see it in his face. mentally he also knew he had waaaay more trouble than he should at this stage in the tourney. His mind couldnt compute.... Its all boils down to what knee drama a month ago. Tekken 8 is a new game. And the old guard are good but still have t7 muscle memory. Where as the new guard has the benefit of S tier characters (70% of the cast is broken S tier) and they have downloaded old guards ghosts. The downside of being the old gods. is that everyone knows who u are and download ur ghost and learn. Whereas u do not know anyone to download other than ur rivals... this is the result. They all gonna drop and have a hard time. Until they adapt to T8, might take a while. Those who cannot, will be left behind.

Told yall. This is new era. 70% of da cast is BROKEN. But internet wanna complain about drag and feng only. Prolly some racism behind that. In reality, 70% of the cast is broken. Every character has there own OP gimmicks. Old guard is failing and losing coz they still have T7 muscle memory and everybody is playing against the top tier ghosts. This add with the fact that the characters are S tiers OP and can take 80% of your life with a bad guess, means we will see more new winners and new characters in tourneys. This will keep on until the old guard finally adapts to the T8 crowd and those who cant, will be left behind in the dust.
