i know it's nitpicky, but wasn't ryu considered good at the start of both 4 and 5? he absolutely died in both those games after the first changes and slowly had to climb to the top. but release 5 ryu was godlike

​@kingbulbasaur9460 in 5 Ryu was pretty strong in S1 then He, Nash, chun li all got their legs cut. I hated 5 because they would buff and nerf characters so hard that it gave everyone a character crisis as if Capcom wanted us to play every character by the time the game was done

SF4 vanilla Ryu was not top tier in S1, he was strong maybe top 5 at best. Characters like Sagat, Akuma and Seth were way stronger

Wrong they buffed Ryu in SF5 and they also did a update on buffing the shoto characters in general. lol maybe DO some actual research before talking more trash on some actually good characters.
