This is the best video I’ve seen on how to remove the tongue and groove boards. Great job.

Thank you for your help! I'm taking up 90 y.o. pine flooring that will later be reinstalled in same house. Your tips worked for me. Great explanation.

This is so helpful! We are taking wood flooring up from a house next door built in 1900 and using it for our house built in 1865.

thank you. I need to reclaim and reuse my 108 year old pine floors that are tongue and groove and secret nailed and everyone talks about pulling nails or cutting the tongue. Thank you so much!!!!

Do you pull the nails out of the salvaged boards or do you just cut them off? Thanks

Well... this is actually an excellent video. Had to work very hard to find it though. Do you think you can apply this technique to an engineered floor that has underlayment but is glued in the tongue and groove? No nails I don't believe.

How do you get the nails out before reinstalling? Seems to be the only thing missing in your video otherwise really helpful!

Square nails? Seems to indicate a lot older than 75 years? Do you think they were loaded into some type of old nailing machine?
