Tongue with olives is one of my favorite recipes. My mom used to make it and I would always be amazed until it was ready. Tongue with tomato sauce is by far the most delicious. It can be eaten either hot or, if you can't try it, cold tongue stew. You can't resist it, and I guarantee that.

Ingredients for cold beef stew:
How to prepare beef tongue for cold tongue stew:
- 1-2 pieces of beef tongue;
- 1 large onion;
- 2-3 bay leaves;
- 1 teaspoon of peppercorns;
- 1 tablespoon of salt;
How to prepare cold stew, ingredients:
- 1 piece of boiled and cleaned tongue;
- 1 red bell pepper;
- 1 large onion;
- 1 large carrot;
- 30 ml of olive oil;
- 200 ml of white or red wine (according to preferences);
- 500 ml of tomato juice, or (3-4 tablespoons of tomato paste mixed with 300 ml of water);
- 250 g of salted black olives;
- 1/2 bunch of fresh parsley;
- salt and pepper to taste;
