Im crying as I write this because I too am a veteran. She kills it like one other. Wilfred Owen from WW1. Im crying as typically my soul as a veteran always does, we havve learned the lessons of war time and time again. However, our egos tend to think its ok to kill for those with the money and the power.

Kate Tempest writes so deeply about her surroundings and what she sees matters to her and she makes it matter to all of us. I could barely contain myself from the realism of this poem and how she respected the soldiers and told some of the things they had to live through and have to live with.
