A brother in Christ said 'when we pray in tongues we become invisible to the devil.' I like that analogy. I find speaking in tongues blocks out any negative thoughts.

Wow always wanted to go to Japan wonderful! Too bad under world I have walked in tongues for 50 years and God has sustained me. God be all glory ! I love your tongue album. Cried in tongues during a medical procedure didn't even care it was the only way I could handle it.And God helped me get through the pain while speak ing tongues. I keep sowing my tongue language into this diagnosis and told the doctor it wasn't going to happen to me it was not natural the disease is from the enemy of my soul.

I totally agree,,, I had a 1979 Ford Pinto and I was living in the mountains of Cobleskill NY and I had to be at work at 6am in Albany NY about 30 miles away. It was winter and it was lightly snowing,,, I left My house at 4:30 am to make sure I could take My time and get there early. As I started out, I had a half tank of gas, and I was driving a back road and along the way there was 1 gas station open at that time and I was about a half hour away from it and I was praying and the Holy Spirit said,,, stop and fill up, so, I did. As I continued after I filled up, I started down the hill and I hit Black ice and the car started sliding sideways and I saw a guard rail coming right at me and it was a big wide guard rail without a cap. I prayed in the Holy Spirit and I felt God's hand, hit the front of my car and as I hit the guard rail it ripped my car in two and went through the gas tank and if I didn't listen to and obeyed to fill up. The car would have exploded as the Ford Pinto was known for.... Praise God! I walked away with not a scratch, bump, or anything to Me. My car was destroyed and the only place that was untouched was the drivers seat. Hallelujah!!!! Pray in tongues ALWAYS!!! I

I have been able to pray in tongues for many years. And I have not seen these kinds of manifestations. It just seems like a way to pray, when you don’t know what to pray for, or run out of things to say. Maybe one day the Holy Spirit will open it up full to me. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

There is absolutely nothing mysterious about Biblical "tongues" - and there is only *one* type - when referring to something spoken, they are nothing more than real, rational language(s); usually, but not always, unknown to those listening to them, but always known by the speaker(s) - it’s their native language (in some cases, it is a language the speaker has learned). _Nowhere_ in the Bible is modern tongues-speech advocated or evidenced. ‘Tongues’ (read, *‘languages’* ) - the divine gift, is the God/Holy Spirit given ability to effortlessly learn to speak and be understood through real-language barriers. It is not xenoglossy (as many people incorrectly assume), nor is it the self-created non-cognitive non-language utterance of what certain Christian denominations are producing today (modern tongues-speech).
