I will never understand how someone so talented can become bankrupt twice. How can a management company allow that to happen? They had her awards taken away from her and turned them into cash. How awful is that? She still has one of THE most instantly recognisable and most consistent of voices in the entire industry. Her comeback album with Babyface is a MUST for every Soul/ RnB fan. BUY IT!

What is crazy is she had to go to court for her label to give her her 20 million, so she went back to being rich faster than it took me to write that & got her awards back right away (without entering into details, I read her autobiography)). And she actually deserves to be rich with that voice! What's really awful is that she's been battling Lupus (auto-immune disease & it's life threatening) for a few years now, although she's apparently getting better & better. We've lost enough Legends already at a young age... And yes, her album Love, Marriage & Divorce with Babyface is a masterpiece that got her her 7th Grammy award this year (but who's counting? :P )...
