I have the newer version of this and its fantastic. Very lightweight and 1/3rd of the size. It's so impressive and heats up automatically to 210c in seconds. It has no catch so you do have to press it down and keep it down but because its so hot you only keep it on for 2-5 seconds maximum for incredible curls/waves. Right now it's £20 on Amazon prime with same day delivery. Total bargain. What I'd also add to this to keep the curls in is some good old fashioned hair mouse. I usually completely dry my hair then add mouse and then start applying the rod. Once you've done one section to then use a bit of lightweight hair spray to hold the curls. The version you are using I believe has a longer barrel but I'm not 100% of that. If you still have this one it's worth investing in the newer version as it's much easier than the older one to use and much faster. Especially with it being so cheap as it is right now. Its so small I can put it in my makeup bag. Small but mighty! You have such beautiful thick hair! Never cut it! It's gorgeous! ❤️❤️
