you ever fall in love with someone and then y’all break up? you wanna move on but you can’t. despite talking to others, you always think of that one person. when you’re laughing with someone else, when you’re talking to somebody else - they always appear in your mind. then you go around, regretting all the fucking wrongs that happened between you two. you try to go back, but then you see the other already happy with someone else. laughing, smiled, talked more with them than they ever did with you. you try everything you can do get them out of the picture, but you can’t. what hurts most is when you have to act like everything’s good, especially when both of you made up and become friends. having to act like you’re happy for them being with someone else, when really.. you cry about it every night, cursing at yourself for not giving your everything in the relationship. and as time goes, you slowly lose yourself. not only because you had lost someone that was so special to you, but because.. because by then you’d realize you’re probably never going to get another chance to be with them. to make them laugh. to make them smile. to make them be able to call you theirs. ‘cause.. same.
